GCM Resources plc, an AIM quoted mining and energy company, announces that, further to the notification on 1 November 2018 with regard to Northland's relinquishment of its nominated adviser ("Nomad") status, the Company has identified a replacement Nomad. Due diligence is advanced and the Company is confident that the replacement Nomad will be appointed prior to the 1 February 2019 deadline.

So they appear to have had 3 months...lets hope for a provisional appointment before thursday

We know things are in progress from previous RNS, so just waiting for pen to paper? Who schedules that, and with what goal in mind?

Otoh, i'd be surprised if NB was happy to remain as CEO if he wasnt happy with the progress being made by whoever is in the driving seat, and I suspect he is acting in the essential role of navigator to his rally driver, and currently happy to be doing so.

As for "driven by hubris...approach is a blocker" have you actually met him/seen him in action in any meeting, or are you basing this on others' BB opinions? I've not met him, but I suspect that character type is endemic amongst strong and successful entrepreneurs.

Personally, I think he has the right team to get this over the line, and if we are in the final stages of a megadeal (even if it takes a few more months), I won't be attempting to upset the applecart. Each to his own, as they say

I have delisted cos from feb and sep 18 still showing (but zero value) in both Barc and HL accounts.

Not sure what happens if/when they relist though. Maybe thats when the broker makes the changes?
