And maybe a small point, but I wouldnt risk £50k plus of my own money an buying options at 20% below current market price in the knowlwedge that the sp was about to tank.

Unless he has indeed fwd sold those shares.

Sadly, experience has taught me that if IIs and ppl in the know have a way to stuff us PIs, then they generally do.

Can anyone highlight the benefits of conversion now, as opposed to at a sp of say 12, on the assumption that good news is incoming? Something to do with tax maybe?

Surely they convert at their 10p regardless of current sp, so atm, are putting themselve instantly at a 40% drop ( hence my thinking tax adjustments..). Or have I totally misunderstood?

So if FRR witholds share certs -i dont know if there is a legal time limit before this has to be done- until after a (hopefully) successful outcome to the CC, nae bugger is gonna be selling owt!
