Val phase 2 news today ..up nearly 150% here we are, literally typing up our paperwork to hand in our NDA, and yet our share price is endlessly stuck in a holding pattern! We are like an unattractive girl with a good personality sat in the corner at the school disco waiting for someone to ask her to dance !!

You wouldn’t want to take on the responsibility for their debt though !

All a mystery really isn’t it we’re at £90m market cap when our science is finished on abssi and it’s now basically a paperwork exercise, compared to imm with a £218m market cap with phase 3 results yet to come in. Very frustrating, good luck to them though

Ian if we’re turning over $700m we will probably be working on something like 30% margins meaning we will be making $200-250m profit pa. At that stage we may receive a decent offer (not over £1bn though) . So no I can’t see this company will ever have a market cap of £1-2bn. Also, i find it hard to believe you wouldn’t perceive £1.50 for each of your shares to be more than acceptable?! It’s way beyond any broker forecast and 300/400% up from where we are now. None of the above detracts from ivy being the most informed, helpful poster on this board, or my belief in iclaprim and the share.

allguesswork I agree if a bid of £400m came in now (£1.50+ a share) it would definitely be approved by 99% of pi’s and certainly by one of our significant ii’s !!! Talk of £1bn-2bn market cap is nonsense it won’t happen.

Thanks ivy appreciate response. I have been in other shares where the ceo has done a con call explaining to shareholders why they believe the sp has fallen to very low levels for no good reason, and I think at some point GL as ceo should do the same here

Ivy would you not agree that the time has come for GL to communicate with shareholders what the company believes are the reasons behind the shocking share price? Rather than the usual compared to our peers we’ve got a lot of catching up to do etc etc ...we all believe the science but It’s not really helping us at present. And technically the science is now complete for abssi!

Agree Sheltie ceo’s Live and die on performance for shareholders. I would give Grahan an A on managing the science and the process but an E for attainment on what effect the science and achievements have thus far have had on the value for shareholders

I said it a week ago GL needs toget a proper steer on what is going on here and then communicate his findings to shareholders.

IG quick question you say there are 30 Ii’s holding 55.5% of the shares. What qualifies someone as an ii ? Is it purely the % of shares they hold ?

It’s hard to argue now that 20’s isn’t on the cards. I honestly think GL has to get his nomad, or investor relations onto this and try and get some answers around what is driving this value destruction

Fair play Dave, i agree with pretty much all you say could happen. I love this share, what it means, how it helps and the returns it could bring to its long suffering believers ...but it’s trying mine/our patience massively. I can’t remember such a quality share that’s sailed over so many major milestones to then react so poorly in its share price..this is a day to day grind you into the dust experience at present!

Dave so you tell me what’s your forecast on what will happen here over the next 12 months and then on approval?
