I’ve read a lot (think even malcy) that as a rough estimate a company should be worth $40m for every 1000bopd it produces. If Indonesia turns out to be a fantastic acquisition then I will clearly be thrilled but my experience is there’s often a catch in why things are let go cheaply ..look at Azer

Sisyphus we would seem massively overvalued compared to a certain field in Indonesia!

Sankeys the capex costs have been spent to get the field to where it is now. They’re operating profits before tax are over $18m per annum if I owned it I would be looking for more than $6.6m ..unless I was in the know about some negatives ..if something seems too good to be true etc etc However it gives us an idea of what we’d be worth when the Z’s Get us to 1000 bopd in Azer !!

Interesting announcement, unless my maths is wrong the Indonesian field makes $18m a year profit ... then you have to ask the question if there’s any longevity in production and no other obvious issues why would the seller sell for 3 months worth of profit ?

Unfortunately sarge I think they’ll push ahead with the acquisition with funds from cornerstone investor before we get the news from z-21

Still here ezhik with the same number of shares, just taking a bit of a break from posting as 1) The boards can take over your thinking a bit too much sometimes 2) this share has currently become too frustrating to bother with until we finally achieve something worth shouting about ....I did have a chat with AC just before the last operational update and he was still (as always) very optimistic about the end result from the z’s

Gregpeck nobody wants to be told on their own board that their share is über ramped and massively overvalued in comparison to the share you want to ramp/promote. I said it yesterday it’s not cricket. And you’re harming your own share in doing it. Don’t know much about uen, on the face of it yes you seem to be undervalued but your jurisdiction will put off a high % of investors, so there will always be a sizeable discount applied . We all take our chances and spend our own money, so try and be respectful. Good luck

No I don’t ajb the cornerstone investor is coming soon, and I’m assuming that’s how we’re going to fund asset purchase and commencement of works there...wherever that is !

There’s a reason that government depts (not just in Azer) hand out contracts on these sorts of fields for literally next to nothing and a small cut of revenue. They know the condition of them and how much money needs to be spent to get them performing again I.e if something sounds to good to be true it probably is ! Anyway we have to suck it up and wait it out

He’s basing it on gregpeck going on other boards ****ging those shares off and pumping uen. Just not cricket. If your share is the real deal then people will find it but gregpeck needs to learn some etiquette. In fact he’s probably harming the chances of people investing in uen

we will be hearing about this cornerstone investor sooner than you think, as I posted earlier. That will I think be more significant to sp (good or bad depending on structure of deal) than today’s rns
