Been waiting for someone to reply that to me like it's justification for putting their biggest asset into a new company. They ll need more funding in five minutes time, let's hope they screw over greenroc holders this time and not Alba holders again.

The fundamentals absolutely have changed since I invested- they decided to put the Greenland assets into a completely new company. I invested for clogau knowing that they had greenland in their back pocket if nothing materialised.
Doesn't matter they own half of greenroc, there is no back up plan when you invest in Alba for clogau anymore and this is partly why the share price is stuck

Just sticking my two pence in, I think the poor market reaction to recent news is to do with the Greenland spin out. I think without the safety net of Greenland it’s putting off investors. Please don’t me to disagree and say Alba still own the majority of the greenland assets or that the spinout is a positive thing-this is just my point of view and what is stopping me topping up despite good news and a low SP so I imagine I’m not alone in this thinking

Agree that volume has been bad lately and that’s hopefully why it won’t turn out to be a placing. I think it’s just been a case of time is ticking on and there’s no money coming in from Clogau etc yet - they keep all the holding they find from exploration if I remember correctly minus 4% to The Crown. So In George’s shoes I’d be running the pilot plant whenever anyone is on site to try and get some money coming in from somewhere. Basically what I’m trying to say is George doesn’t seem to think this way and seems in no rush to generate income so until he doesn’t expecting more placements along the way whenever he needs money even if it’s not beneficial timing for us. I’ll shut up about placings now because I’m even boring myself

@yanis I will talk about placements if I want to talk about placements, just filter me if you don’t want to read my posts. The SP has followed the same pattern as the last placement (and placements for other shares I’m in) and then we got an RNS placement spring on us here. The truth is it’s been 5 months since the last one, so it wouldn’t surprise me to get one from them although smaller than the last one I would imagine

Prolonged dip and now a couple of days of rises, am I the only one wondering if we will see a placement RNS shortly? Not sure if sentiment has changed enough to explain the rise so a placement might explain the SP being ran down so low and now back up on no news or real sentiment change

50% drop since the new year is more than a little drop, we have every right to moan on here. We all know how the markets work but how will a 50% drop in a short space of time encourage new investors? Not a sudden drop either, the SP gets chipped away at relentlessly and hasn’t stopped yet which is never a good sign. If people want to bury their heads in the sand on here that’s up to them

I just don’t get it I really don’t. They have a gold mine and equipment and man power to process gold so why on earth are they not at this point just sampling anything and everything to recover some gold and get some money in the bank. At this point I thought they’d be sampling the quartz veins they’ve found to see if they can get any gold out too

Actually can’t get over the line “increasing man power at the plant” to process the other half of the 36 ton sample. It’s literally GF sat there with a nut cracker isn’t it as that’s the only explanation. How will this mine ever be profitable if it takes them 5 months to process 36 tons through the plant? There’s no excuses

Find it quite unprofessional when companies can’t be bothered to reply. If they can’t be bothered to reply why should I be bothered to invest in them. As a PI driven company they should care what the little people think

Personally will be holding and not selling at a loss. I said at the start of the year I will hold this and another junior minor I’m in until 2021 and reassess then as it’s takes the pressure off any decision making and gives them both time to come good. I do believe deep down Alba will get there in the end, but right now until these bleeding assays are released the share price will never improve. And I’m not full of confidence that they will be out any time soon either, I’m imagining GF sat with a nut cracker with 36t surrounding him trying to find the gold as that’s the only explanation I can think of as to why he’s dragging his heels

The end of the quarter is nigh and what a surprise still no news. Have to say ever since I saw this in an RNS 6 weeks ago I did think they are setting this up to go on past Q1 it the excuse of being sent to labs to confirm results:"Pilot Gold Processing PlantThe Company's bespoke pilot gold processing plant has been operational since 20 January 2021. Initially, ore stockpiles from prior periods of exploration are being utilised to test and refine the operation of the plant. The stockpile from the Sep/Oct 2020 bulk sampling will be processed progressively through Q1 2021. Following completion of the processing exercise, concentrate samples will be sent to an accredited laboratory for assaying. No results will be available until those assay results have been received and analysed." No word on if they've sent the concentrate to be assayed so I'm thinking not. Could be another 2-3 month wait AGAIN then

Have we really resulted to this level of ramping where numbers of 263g/t are being thrown around and used in calculations? Yes stellar may have found that in one GRAB sample, I’m sure Alba may be lucky enough to find the odd ton with levels like that too due to the nuggety nature. For everyone ton down there like that there will be numerous tons with no gold in. Anyone basing calculations that all tons will contain that much gold is in for a big disappointment.

That RNS by Stellar shows there is still gold down in the mine to be found but to claim 263 g/t as a representative number to base calculations on is crazy
