I caved and topped up. Realistically can’t see this dropping much more but it is on a downward trend so won’t be surprised if we see 300, I’m a long term holder though so personally I’m not fussed or worried in the slightest if it does, I will just buy some more again. The good thing with being a long termer is you get to buy in on days like today and take advantage of these big dips knowing in a few years your future self will thank you for it! Thought this would be on its way to £4.50 by now though so what do I know haha

I very much want to top up but feel it’s a bit like catching a falling knife atm. Will keep a close eye on this, never thought I’d see these price again tbh

Small top up done today, this share can move up very fast when it’s allowed to and it can be near impossible to get a quote to buy in on days like that so I’m trying to get as many as I can while it’s been on the way down. Still excited for this one and to see what the future brings the next few months

After selling yesterday today was the first time in months I didn’t do my morning ritual of logging in to see how much my cine shares had gone down :’o) I don’t like change

Just thought I’d do a little update, despite saying I would continue to hold I sold out :O(

I was going to keep holding, I was so determined to but after waking up and reading the lacklustre and lacking any financial details RNS it kept playing on my mind and I had an overwhelming gut feeling to sell and take the loss. It didn’t sit well with me that it got leaked to the media before shareholders (and staff) and any company who respects neither isn’t a company I trust with my money long term. The share has never been kind to me as I jumped in on its way back up and got spiked, been all downhill since then.

So I’m out for now and will probably trade this share a bit with the money I sold for to try and mitigate any losses but won’t be having another go until after Christmas.

I believe Cine will survive but it won’t be the same Cine. I think lots won’t reopen if I’m honest especially any with short leases left

Just checking in, haven’t caught up but that RNS was very lacklustre for my liking. No financial details given such as by closing we expect to save X amount compared to staying open. Just no numbers to back up any rationale behind closing and I don’t like that. I haven’t sold my shares to Vultures like Trendz to short though so that’s one good thing to come out of this morning. The thing is, imagine cinemas got the go ahead to open back in July but Cine chose to remain closed and was still closed now, and wasn’t planning on opening until next year. We’d all have spent the last 3 months bricking it they’d never open again. They tried it, it hasn’t worked thanks to the studios pulling films, they can’t just play Tenet until the next big blockbuster next year

Completely agree about the RNS, I think it’s a disgrace this has got to the media before announcing to shareholders. As much as I believe in holding my shares at the moment, if there is no 7am RNS then I will be having another long hard think

Anyone planning on selling tomorrow no matter what the price is you will be landing in the hands of the likes of @trendz on here who is planning on shorting them down to 10p. It’s vultures like him on here today who can smell blood and are circling round. They’ve got nothing better to do than insight panic on a board they’ve never posted on until today, and why is that?

I’d rather lose all my money than let scummy shorters buy my shares cheap and profiteer by further driving down the SP by shorting

Sorry if this is a stupid question but How would mooky have got the OK to shut the cinemas? Which other shareholders would have had to of Okayed it? E.g would HSBC and Morgan Stanley etc have to have agreed to it or don’t they own enough shares?

Do feel it was unprofessional that this has either intentionally or unintentionally found its way into the media before an RNS. Also feel bad for the staff who are no doubt feeling as bad as we are today finding out like that.

Lol at all the people who I’ve never seen on this board coming to tell us it’s doomed. Same happened on the easy Jet board last weekend and their share price held up on the Monday. Not saying Cine’s will hold up because it won’t but don’t listen to the doom brigade from people who have read a Sun article and have come to gloat. The thing that bothers me not about them closing even though I think it’s for the best is i will have niggling doubts that they may never reopen again. I know that’s unlikely to happen but how things are going I have it in my mind anyway. Derampers are going to have a field day saying that alone

I’m shocked but it kind of needed to happen didn’t it if he is closing them until there’s films to show. Gotta play hardball with the studios at this point because if they keep getting their way there will be nothing to show. There’s nothing to show and my local cine hadn’t even reopened anyway and I’m southwest where we’ve not been hard hit with coronavirus thankfully so I didn’t understand why it didn’t reopen as not on local lockdown or anything like that. As I keep saying I’m keeping on holding

Any drop in share price Monday may also be related to Trump being in hospital, the markets won’t like it just like they didn’t when Boris was in hospital. Just try not to panic Monday. Although I see this dropping to 30p it may not happen on Monday, probably be mid thirties with ups and downs but an overall slow decrease the next few months until some positive news.

Has anyone got any updates on the court case? I don’t come on here much but when I do I never see it being mentioned. Any resolution in that will make the SP shoot up but that’ll be months away probably. Hopefully it won’t hinder getting debt covenants with it hanging over the company
