A settlement for under 4 or 6 billion with the doj in the next week or two would be good and it would send the sp up 3%+ Did i read some where that they were in talks again and wanted it sorted by the end of the year ? Does anyone think it will happen?

I still belive or hope , Don,t forget that they could make 4.5+ billion for the year before everything is taken out and even after taxes and other payments maybe left with 2 billion not counting the africa stuff , and what do they pay out at moment maybe 450 to 600 million in dividends? I reckon they could do a 5% dividend with spare cash left over , and with the tax rate in the us likely to be less in the future and ppi fading away slowly, if they get a good settlement on the fines this could go up alot..It just sucks holding the stock at the wrong time, but is barclays going anywhere nope and will they be above the 250 mark once the fines are sorted out , i say yes 100% yes its just how long will it take months years many years ? hold with hope

Whats the chance,s that barc will pay 15p to 20p divended a year with in 3 to 5 years.

Long term Q1 ( 1.1 )billion profit and Q2 could be 1 to 1.5 billion profit tho a big hit maybe loss of 1 to 1.5 billion due to good will to remove the Africa side of things of 1 to 1.5 billion tho the underline profits of 2 to 2.5 billion for first half if this is matched in second half = 4 to 5 billion profit on company that is valued on 36 billion, does that not equal 10 to 12 % dividend ratio after tax , I know it,s only 1.5% at moment but the potential to rise greatly in the future years and i correct or wrong? Allso I know could there be more large fines in future and if they get those profits and how the uk gdp does in the future but also more cost cuttings and no more ppi in a few years. Am i being to positive?
