in 2017 with 3.5 billion in net debt 89000 bopd with average low oil prices sp 150 to 220
in 2020 estimate 80000 bopd net debt 2.8 billion sp currently 49 with higher average oil prices.
is this all or am I missing something?

The trades are coming in slower might be due to lunchtime or the panic is fading some.

pellets and fines, fxpo results use fines as a guide.
I try to look up seaborne 65% fines as 65 normally tracks above 62 they both normally go up and down together so I look at the 62 as well as a guide.

We are currently over 90 dollars per ton for iron ore 65% with a company value of 967 million dollars
The average for 6 months in 2018 was 88.1 dollars for 65% and they still made 152 million dollars after tax and if you times it by 2 for the whole year you would be around 300 million dollars at the 88 dollars per ton price after-tax.
So far on the current 6 months unless we crash between now and end of the year we going to be near 95 to 100 dollars per ton on average with profits around 200 million dollars at a guess after tax.
Even in the past with the 62% ore which they don,t get much of nowadays with an average price of 56 dollars they still made 150 million in a year before tax while having a lot of debt.
If they can cut the debt down even more and maybe get rid of the debt over the next few years and build up the cash pile it will protect the share price.
I believe this company is a great money-making machine.

whatI’m curious about is the 114 million dollars reinvested in the first half what was that actually used for as a 114 million dollars in Ukraine is probably the same as spending 500 million here which is a fortune .

Net debt has gone from 2016 868m to 589m to 403m to 339m to 282million and is most likely to drop further by end of the year.
Many people are in a company that pays between 2-4% dividends and are happy and for that, we would need 15 to 30 million pounds or 19 to 39 million dollars profit.
FXPO made 180 million pounds or 270 million dollars in the first 6 months while reducing debt by 50 million to 282 net debt.
In 2016 ore prices were a lot lower than current prices so why would we go below 80p. unless you believe it's going to get nationalized but then you would not say 80p either. The company to me looks very healthy if iron ore goes back down to 30/40 dollars we are in a far better place to handle it compared to many iron ore companies with lowish debt.

The Swiss tax Does Anyone have any experience with it do we pay 35% before we get it and if we do , I read we can claim 4/7 back through double tax rules not sure how that effects the uk tax any one done before ?

If I have added up correctly unsure if my source is accurate but the average iron ore 65% so far since 2019/06/30 is 103+ dollars average for the first half was 101 dollars with great results tho second half was going to have higher costs, but I believe the profits will being fairly good unless iron ore prices crash.

least iron prices have been going up over the last 5 working days, I read somewhere China broke a record on port iron import in September where people were expecting a slowdown and prices are stabilizing which should be good for profits.

I think I am going to give this stock 2 years with a target of 200+ even tho prices can drop 50% or raise that amount in 1 month.
My biggest problem is I don,t hold long enough. With a possible, 15% dividend covered by 2x possible even 3x times with after-tax profits and with fairly low debt for a mining company. I'm hoping this going to be a good decision.

To me, this does seem like a double or nothing gamble I feel the double is far more likely maybe that's just me being too positive.

The pound dropped half a percent against the dollar last night and going by custeel Seaborne index 65% Fe fines was up to 94.35 from 93.95 a 6 day high. least it not going down at the moment.
You never know France might refuse an extension very unlikely tho and the pound crashes causing fxpo to go up 10%

Very true but one could argue we are currently a lot higher than those prices at the moment. and debt was a lot higher back then.
Many companies carry on paying dividends with no cover I would rather the dividend was cut to save borrowing in that situation, I would say that is sensible management unless you sitting on a pile of cash.
You could also use that argument as well to many other companies most have a rocky history. Some times you have to look forward not backward or you would never take a risk in case a named company dropped back to an earlier price in the past.

I read somewhere we could be on a 11% dividend with specials. If I have added up correctly are we on a 15 percent dividend for this year?? If there are 2 specials and final at 6.30 cents like last year equals 25.2 cents in all then into 19.5 pence = 15% if you count specials and 7.5% without. That beats most stocks by a mile and at this point in time I can,t see any reason why the board would risk share price by lowering the dividend.

With very rose-tinted glasses view thinking on this company with the very positive side of events only.
If prices don,t crash and they are able to bring production up from 10.6 tones to 12t and within say 5 years are able to bring production to 14/16/ 18 or even 20t which they are looking at feasibilities studies on at the moment.
I could dare to imagine start-up cost for this could be high but with returns of 700 million to 1 billion after-tax, going on first 6 months prices of 2019 with high iron prices in the future, what returns could you get with a 10k investment now, I know it is all very unlikely but it is not impossible either. Greater the risk greater the reward.

Prices still around 90+ dollars for 65%, if I have read correctly so profits for the second half if maintained could be 200 million+ and the highest prices in the year, was June July and August and was highest in July which will be in the final half, so maybe a possibility that they can even beat the first-half profits if prices hold or increase with some luck.
Profit after tax up 78% to US$270 million with the possibility to double that to US$ 540 million dollars after tax for a company worth 777 million pounds.

Iron ore is still way higher than last year and so far the rest of this year could be similar to the first half tho might be a bit lower but could still be 200 million+ after-tax.
They are looking to expand to 12mt from 10.6mt and looking at possible future plans to see if 20mt is possible. with huge reserves.
My only concern is if there are charges in the courts in Ukraine. what could happen?
I do not understand the laws and rules in Ukraine could they confiscate the mines in Ukraine? even tho it is not a Ukraine company.
If the answer is no then we only need 100 million for a 10% return so far this year we made 270 million after-tax the numbers are very impressive.

I am out I thought the market was going to go down in the afternoon instead it went up, even more, I tried to better my position as I tried to play the markets and lost the coin flip, somewhat gutted but walking away with my profits so unless it goes down I am unlikely to return, so, for now, it is the end of the GFRD road for me good luck all.
