All speculation , who knows the real reason. All l know is that if it had been Gino departing, then I'd have been very concerned. He appears to be instrumental in everything positive thus far.

Perhaps Cheeks ego was bruised by all the accolades Gino rightfully received. Perhaps the two didn't rub along well together and it was a choice ... him or me.

GDR R&D miniscule in comparison and have two Nice approved products and I with FDA interest , we have never achieved that. I have no idea longterm who will ultimately succeed but I'm more than frustrated with Novacyt and the lack of any progress , strategy , increase in sales and lack of communication. I don't post often as unfortunately nothing happening that I'm aware of that is worth posting about !

One might conclude, that if additonal field service engineers are required , that the company is selling POC instruments that need to be serviced .

Any CEO issuing RNS's unless 100 % mandated in this bloodbath of a market needs outing, it wouldn't touch the sides.

The test was only approved last week , there are only 7 lab hubs , I'd expect orders from places such as Guernsey, Jersey , Isle of Man , Isle of Wight etc to already be in the pipeline and to be announced ASAP. Such places have additional wait time because all existing hubs are on the mainland.

Waiting until batches can be sent ( to lower prices) to labs is not an option when time is of the essence with stroke patients.

The stroke specialists will request access to this test. The hard mile was getting the approval, now we just wait for the orders to flood in.

I've no doubt Genedrive have been very proactive whilst waiting for Nice approval recommendation. Not interested in historically what Budd failed to achieve , different CEO and brilliant products. Anyone who thinks this won't be widely adopted needs to give their head a wobble.

Gloria you ignore the cost of an NHS bed for x nights after someone has had a stroke and treatment can commence. Taking that into account, it makes the Poc test considerably cheaper. I assume patients aren't sent home, when at high risk of another stroke in the immediate days after the first one, whilst waiting for lab results. Nobody I know has been!

Poc is a no brainer and I expect it will be quickly adopted. There is an acute bed shortage and this Poc test is the enabler for rapid treatment and has the potential to save many lives as appropriate medicines can be administrated at speed.
