Lol…. Could be though I am a buyer at the current price. Couple of recent purchases in last 10 mins actually one batch for sipp and one for ISA.

Yep, still here for my sins. Can't believe its been 25 years+ since I first invested in the Falkland set of oilies starting with DES, then FOGL and RKH. Really is exciting times but this time I am going to be a little more sensible with profit talking. I see there is another poster who is in the process of moving like myself and I do want to ensure that I can be mortgage free so, I did just protect my interests by selling around 4% of my holding earlier today on the 90p mark and locking in some very nice profit. The SP is performing around 20% above what I expected, always thought it would be the other way round or maybe I'm becoming more measured in my 'maturing age' lol... Next week is going to be interesting and I think the rest of this year is going to be one hell of an exciting trip! Nearly all my Falkland holding is here in RKH but I do have some BOR and WTE because from past history anything can happen with these stocks beit good or bad

WTE as a punt, next door to Sealion 6% share of PL001?

A perfectly reasonable question to ask which I will try to answer. I would start by mentioning that its worth taking a look at the WTE website and the report issued just over a month ago. In particular scroll down to page 7 of 10 and there is a list of bullet points relating to their Falklands interest. Three of those points state:-

“Reawakening of exploration interest in neighbouring licences (to RKH) anticipated”

“PL001 is fully covered by 3D seismic and lies in water depths less than 500M”

“Tyche and Dinlas prospects in the same stratigraphic interval as Sealion discovery each containing a potential 400MMbbl recoverable”

The below is a copy of part of my post from the 5th August. I would just state that things have moved on since I wrote the below with RKH now valued higher, I have also moderated my medium term targets down from 21p to 7.6p-11.4p. The previous 21p is more of a longer medium term target. – Anyway here below a copy from the 5th…….

“We have RKH valued at circa £500M right next door to PL001 which JHI own and WTE have 6% interest in via JHI. RKH have a partner and are first in line to hopefully drill that gives RKH significant extra value.

We have BOR who hold valuable acreage but no drill programme BUT still valued at almost £90M

We have JHI (Private) sitting on potentially 3B to 10B of oil right next to RKH. Question…. Would you consider that JHI acreage could therefore be valued at a similar level to at least that of BOR? Next door to RKH, shallower water etc etc….

I for one would say that using the most basic of maths and simplification would value the JHI acreage at same level as BOR at least.

So… If we take a valuation of £90M and WTE have 6% of that then we get about 5.4M. That gives a share price just in excess of 3.5p. I really can’t see how WTE can be valued any less than that given the valuations of the other Falkland players. I may be totally wrong but at some stage in the future JHI may decide to float. Where would that value JHI? Where would that subsequently value WTE with 6% of JHI?

I’m sure the RNS speeding fine will trigger some profit taking but even at 2.7p close I regard this as undervalued compared to its Falkland peers. I for one will be holding but each to their own.

I maintain the initial simplistic price targets I mention here a few days ago of:-

3.5p short term

21p Medium term

84p Long term

All the above IMHO and DYOR. The Medium and definitely Long term px targets very much subject to continued success drill programme progress with RKH at least.”

I hope all the above is of help Whackford, it is all IMHO and just to re-confirm that I also hold BOR and RKH.

Oh wow Blue Defender! I had a white one MCL 333S , beautiful engine but yes, brakes absolutely shockingly bad!!!

Yacht sounds a good idea plus I do like the Ferrari 355 with the Targa top. I was actually on the verge of buying one just before DES Petroleum found water instead of oil! One of my first cars I had back in the 1980's was a rather tired Lancia Monte Carlo, quite fancy trying to get hold of one of those too! oh the fun I had with rust and electrics!!!
