Good info Overts, Pity the UK government didn't do something similar to the Norwegians! Does make me start to think about how all this infrastructure etc is going to affect the likes of Falkland Islands Holdings (FIH). Just for the hell of it I've taken a tiny 'toe in the water' interest today of a modest 1,000 shs at 196p which are probably going to end up at the back of the 'electronic draw' for a few years to come. It was that thought of sovereign wealth funds and FIH muddled together that did it!

Hmmm, IMHO thats actually 3 very different but equally good opinions! For the record, for me, the majority of my 'Falkland Invested' money is in Rockhopper but with a smaller interest in Borders & Southern - investment ratio in £'s being aprox 5 to 1. I guess quietly I am hoping that when we have the Rockhopper FID this will help carry BOR up to a degree at which point I can profit take BOR holding. My average in BOR is around 5p so in my ideal world that would get closer to the warrant price and I can slice half out or so out. I could be totally wrong but thats my hope!

Its a good feeling. Keeping that happy thread going its great seeing a 25% rise for RKH in a week with what looks like a very rosy future. Also noticed that BOR seems to be having some sizeable 'Unknown' Trades going through and, Navitas is now up around 9% in the last month and currently up again today.

Glass or two of Chateauneuf-du-Pape later me thinks.

I just wanted to add a quick bit of balance and clarification regarding the matter of "Ducks in a row" and a recent comment referring to "seagulls in a row"

'Bird Life International' states "Albatrosses (Seagull) have long been a symbol of mystery and 'Fortune' in literature and culture. Ancient tales suggest that their presence brings luck to seafarers."

Worth also noting that scientifically, an Albatross (Seagull) can gain lots of momentum and fly long distances with little effort.

If FIG are getting Seagulls in a row too then I'm happy with that.
