Great to see the SP climbing. To be honest I bout these along with MNG and Lloyds during the ‘Trump Slump’ April last year. Primarily for the then 10% Div. However , with the SP also rising 90% this has done amazingly well. Hopefully it continues.

So we can safely say that there is a lot of spare investment cash with private investors interested in the Falklands Oil search etc. I’ve added a few extra to my portfolio today (9999) at circa 67p which is marginally hedged/underwritten by the OO offer share I will receive. The monetary difference between 53p on my OO shares and the 67p paid for my top up today. Basically, the OO shares margin de-risking my top up purchase.

Just a caveat on my last post…. JHI value has probably gone up quite considerably now and with the Navitas potential involvement I need to sit down and try and work out the ‘mechanics’ of how this would all go forward. Eg. Would JHI float? Get taken over and if so then what valuation do you pin on JHI. Maybe the route would be a float by JHI.

Healthy debate is great. Just to point out though that what was RKH with 100% of Sealion worth a couple of years ago before Navitas came to the party? At that point in time could a valuation of RKH of £600M been forecast.

Time will tell but there is definitely a momentum happening with Falkland related stocks and my money is on what may or could happen right next door to Sealion in PL001.

Yes, correct regarding they have other interests, I was purely using their Falkland part of it so that Westmounts valuation could be better extracted. WTE also has interests outside of Falklands too which I haven’t fully valued in so that effectively makes the current SP even cheaper than it should be. It was a very simplistic and general valuation.

I think this backs up just what the potential here could be. With a partner, Sealion is currently creating a market cap of £600M for RKH for 35%. If there was indeed to be a similar deal struck and split for JHI in PL001 then if that similar valuation to Sealion and RKH would value JHI at £600M for 35% of PL001 then WTE 6.25% of JHI in the PL001 would be £37.5M valuation. THat excludes all the other assets and investments that WTE have! So.... £37.5M divided by 144M shares gives my medium/longer term target price of around 26p per share! There's the maths.

With everything going on I would punt at Short/Medium target of 13p (Circa market cap of £20M) and potential Long term target of at least 26p (Circa market cap of £40M).

I think there are some really exciting times ahead here and also indirectly there is a multitude of potential deals etc that could come together. Just look at Navitas/RKH right next door, WTE has the PL001 indirect interest of 6.24% via JHI. ECO Atlantic also have an interest in JHI and indeed were considering taking them over previously. Navitas and ECO recent deal and WTE has interests in ECO. That is all very incestuous! Plus we have all WTE other interests to take into account too.

Hi there Supra, yep great start to the year for both WTE and ECO. I’m really pleased people investing here have been making good money. Back in July when I first took a position I just couldn’t believe it was trading then at 0.5p valuing WTE at less than £1m!
