I would love to be able give solid advice but I genuinely am not sure. I didn’t actually hold any Argos and therefore don’t hold the subsequent JHI shares. I would say thou that your thoughts would tally with my thoughts i.e either JHI go the IPO route and float on a market where your shares should then be freely tradable or, they are taken over in some form by a listed company where your JHI shares would then be converted into the listed company’s shares. With Navitas and their recent link up and indeed ECO who previously also did approach JHI and with the renewed interest in the Falklands and PL001 I think that one of those two options could occur. My additional suggestion, and if it was me, I would try to call JHI and ask how else you could relinquish your JHI shares should you so wish plus try your luck asking openingly if they are thinking of floating and/or is it worth you ‘watching this space’ as it were. You never know, you could pick up just a sniff of what could happen!

I would love to know their plans too and what they could potentially be worth. Scratching around it’s surely got to be at least £100m. After any float if that was the route maybe £200m?

Hope you had a good cruise. Agree, next year we will be in a different place. Even with current world developments RKH seems relatively stuck in the 70p to 75p range. Although not a current producer, recent events do highlight our need/reliance on/for oil and gas so maybe that will bring additional focus to what is happening in the Falklands.

I have posted a similar question over on the RKH message board as there is an interconnection…..

What value would we now place on the PL001 area? It has 2x prospects called Tyche and Dinlas that combined have similar potential in size to Sealion in the RKH area. It also has various other potentials that could be a further 10x. Currently, with RKH at £600m cap and 35% of Sealion that gives Sealion and other areas a total value currently of around £2,000M.

PL001 is not as far forward in planning and reserves confirmation etc however, if we fast forward say 2 years then how does that play out with the value of PL001 then and now???

Currently, and excluding ALL other investments, WTE’s current val is £6m. They have a 6.24% interest in JHI. JHI has a 35% interest now in PL001 (Navitas 65%) so…35% of 6.24% is roughly 2%. So, WTE have an interest via JHI in PL001 of 2%. Ignoring all other interests, if that 2% of PL001 is worth WTE market cap of 6m the you could argue a value for PL001 of 2% x 50 = 100% so 50 x £6m WTE cap = PL001 value of £300m.

That seems low or at least leaves the door open for a huge re-rate once there is any onward news. Feeding back that then makes WTE look very under valued indeed as they have additional interests including 1.5m shares in ECO Atlantic which is currently worth around £750k to WTE. I reckon PL001 has a near future value probably closer to £600m +. That would equate to a Share price nearer to 12p plus addition interests such as ECO taking to my price target of 13p.

I am actually going to stick my neck out and try and answer your JHI valuation question. Without going round the houses too much, I would say that it’s gone up a lot since Navitas has shown its hand. Navitas seem to be running a similar based model to the Navitas/RKH deal. The chance of drilling in PL001 has greatly increased which is fantastic news. First, it’s good to look say one or two years down the road and try to envisage where developments in PL001 may have occurred (along with Sealion in the sector next door). Now take that potential future value, add a sentiment value and draw the line back and down to where we currently are. (Apologies if I am boring people, I do ramble!).

Taking just the above brief notes I would punt JHI as a floatable value close to £100m. In the scenario of a float at that price I would then expect a very rapid increase in n my market value to £200m with a forward 2 year value of potentially double that again. In 2 years JHI/Navitas venture could be where RKH/Navitas is now. Think I am being optimistic? Well, BOR on the south side with no current Navitas partner is managing a market cap of not far short of £90m!

The above is just one scenario, in reality JHI could he bought out or other.

I hope in a somewhat Rambling way the above is of use and would actively welcome the thoughts of others

With Navitas now taking an interest next door to Sealion in PL001. What value would we be putting on PL001 now and what potential value do we think PL001 could potentially be say in two years??

There is a reason for these 2x value questions which I will go into further later but in meantime would appreciate any thoughts. To help things along the estimated potential amount of oil in PL001 just with TYCHE & DINLAS is on a par with Sealion and the rest of PL001 is indicated to have a potential of another 10x as much again.

All answers much welcomed as trying to get an updated forecast chart model up and running

Further good news with Navitas and JHI. WTE currently with a market cap of 6.5m with interests in both JHI and ECO looks incredibly undervalued. There is a lot going on with this combination of ECO, JHI and Navitas and WTE has interests in both ECO and JHI but worth just £6.5m!!!

With PL001 slap bang next to Sealion and Navitas overseeing both I am continuing to hold my WTE position and recently added. I am maintaining my medium term price target of 13p

Sad to see that once again another conflict is taking shape. As always, it will be the ordinary men, women and children who will carry the heaviest burden on behalf of the leaders who can never agree. Hmmm.

Tomorrow may be an interesting day on the markets with a multitude of factors and sentiment dancing in all directions. On this dance floor, Risk & Opportunity are never far apart. I’ll be listening carefully to all the music and then decide whether to watch quietly from the bar or, head onto the dance floor and grab opportunity’s fair hand and see where she and the dance takes me!

After what seems like weeks of ‘rinse & repeat’ grey skies and rain, waking today to a bracing Easterly, Blue part cloudy skies, and sunshine has been a tonic. The last few weeks of dull grey weather actually took me back to my times spent in Russia (Moscow) in the early 2000’s, often there would be days of grey skies but hey, the vodka was cheap!

Hopefully, a change in the stuck weather pattern will rub off on the share price and unstick the current and in my opinion undervalued share price.

Nice little 25% gain in last two weeks. This one doesn’t shout so think it’s still very undervalued. Short term, even with money due in end of Feb and priced in, I would say 22p. Medium term, I would price in 30p. I think this one may be a longer game stock. Hope that helps. SML, RKH, WTE, ECO and PMG, been a good run!
