So you think that the decades of cyber war waged by russia, the money spent on helping cause trump win the american election, the money spent on the far right here in the U.K to destabilise us and help push us from the E.U. The poisoning and murders of all put1n opponents and support of other wars has no effect? The west via NATO have been weary of an expansionist russia that simply cannot be trusted under her present leadership. What were things like when Mikhail Gorbachev was in power? How were things before put1n? Russian people do not want war, they have and are suffering enough, their wealth stolen to finance ar_e licking oligarchs and a 1984 type secret service.

My view is that there is just one thing holding this price back, until there is an end (or a clear sign of an impending end) to the war we will be in the doldrums. Assuming the business has no big negatives occur, (though any split definition or finalisation will give a good push upward I would say). What's great is a seemingly proactive management with an eye to the cost base and shareholder value.

In my view, people seldom want to believe what does not suit them, be it financially or in lifestyle. Example, can we continue using oil at the present rate? Assuming humanity will last many thousands of years more, no we can't . But why? Global effects? Maybe, icecaps are melting, but is that any faster than they have historically? It can be proven that it is. Is oil being created at faster rate that which it's being used? No it is not, so it needs to be husbanded, to a degree at least. Does one care about those to come after us being able to use oil? I grumble about paying £2.5K for my son's car insurance. Would I like paying £5 Million for ongoing care for a road traffic victim even less. In the absence of definitive data insurance is what it is. Unless one is simply trying to sow division and unrest that is. Propose a system more suited to humanity.

I can see that in the scheme of things some of what you propose is valid, but unfortunately true communism (this has never been tried I accept) judging by the experiments up to now won't work. People are not built that way. One day maybe, so we have to make the best of what we have. This is not authoritarianism as in russia or china or north korea nor probably first past the post democracy. What that leaves I'm not entirely sure of.

Maybe your argument would be better served if you justified your statement rather than simply voicing an opinion. If anything I said is untrue, disprove it.

Watcher. Look, this conversation will degenerate into name calling in one just bandies about unproven rhetoric. There is no evidence whatsoever of any "Hunter Biden laptop" or of any relevance it may or may not have to the present situation. The simple fact that you attempt to deflect by bringing it up shows how shaky the ground is in your argument. Conversely there are many recordings of trump trying to extort negative information on Biden from Zelensky and linking this to any arms exports. Unlike russia that has only state media (propaganda) in the west the "freedom of speech" allows many views to be heard, some undoubtedly are not completely true, but there is a multitude of sources that can be compared. Why Blair comes up I have no idea, (he is no favorite of mine) just more deflection, you should try to stay on topic and at least in this present decade. As for meddling, I accept that the USA does this, all nations do, rich and poor, (American election meddling by russia? Brexit meddling by russia? RT pay farage half a million pounds a year, why? One has to decide the level and aims of that meddling. My view so far is that russia would have been far better served by staying peaceful, by growing it's economy (as was happening) and employing more democratic methods to serve the will of her people who I believe have no true interest in war.

Watcher. I don't know why you come to these conclusions, but to me it's symptomatic of a bully who sees his power diminishing as his one time "subjects" grow up, learn and go their own way. But the bully does not like this, so lashes out to try to rekindle his power/empire and punish them. Because he's a simple minded bully, who knows nothing of the wishes of others (after all he lives in a self made bubble) he's oblivious to the values that those others place on their newfound freedoms. The bully has simply pushed them and others into defending themselves better. Obviously that will not stop the bully getting even more angry, with possibly disastrous results but hopefully saner minds will prevail.

If your timeframes are longer than a month, in my view it will come good. I've been buying since the lows and now have an ave cost of £1.86. (More by luck than judgement). No more pennies left so it can ride. Todays behavior is more to do with negative sentiment all round than anything else I would say. Unfortunately the pumpers and bashers can reek havoc on peoples minds. These are not times for the faint of heart!

Whilst looking at the share price fluctuations today it might have seemed possible to trade successfully, but with a 10p to 14p buy/sell spread for much of the day it would take big crystal balls to judge the jump points in my view. Until it's a couple of pence it's russian roulette. (In more ways than one I suppose).

I was thinking the same, some of the russian based funds are down 5% + for the month (though one could get a discount on purchase), we are up 17%. That to me, given the adverse trading conditions is quite a commendation for the company. Looking at future expected gold production that is set at averaging up quite a bit also, (expectations of a cessation of hostilities I suppose).
The MM's are having a field day/week/month here with both accumulation and manipulation occurring. All my view only. Patience and a cool head required (both here and hopefully in peace negotiations) so as not to get spooked.

Does anybody remember that spoilt kid at infants school, the one that wanted to be the center of attention all the time, saying how his dad was the biggest (or richest) or who knew the most? (Though non of these things could ever be confirmed). Remember how the kid would attempt to ostracise anyone who did not lick up to them or pay homage? Sounds to me a bit like a big kid who continually posts a list of "Filtered" or those "Persona non grata" as an order to his perceived minions. In other walks of life we would see this behaviour for the insecure, controlling, and self aggrandizement that it really is. My view is that most views are worth listening to, even those I don't always agree with. The simpler of mind may think otherwise.
