Could you please explain why either of these actions benefit the big holders and disadvantage minority holders?

My view (it could be proven by investigating) it that minority holders have benefitted greatly by the stock price drop, they will have loaded up in a way that the big boys could not, (take Blackrock as an example), now the divi's being retained, to me is neutral, in fact many minority holders could well have sold out ex div by now and lost the bigger move in share price. In effect having been locked in has stopped that, it's to good effect I would say.

I think that you have a valid point there, when this reopens it will be in the 1.20 to 1.60 range in my view. What happens then though when some have a 70% profit I don't know. Hopefully it will come with a big RNS of good things to come.

Maybe, but as we have seen with our "less than honest prime mister" and his whole cabinet, the countries tolerance to vile and dishonest behaviour is many times higher than it was at one time. My view is than if he's seen to be a tory, he will probably get a slap on the back and a few Horrars!

I looked myself and I agree, not very good, so possibly hoping for a big payday with Poly to boost their performance. One thing is sure though is that Polymetal, and Evraz are getting talked about, this is not in my view accidental at all. These press guys don't wake up in the morning, have their £7 mumbojumbo coffee and peekaboo pastry and think to themselves "I'll write a piece about a mining company that I have never heard of and have no interest in". They are in my view 'steered' toward it. We are in a front row seat to see why.

If the Jan 6th plot and the hundreds involved can be hidden from the worlds media in the U.S.A. what difficulty is there with half a dozen in The Ukraine or in russia?

Thanks for that. There seem to be a number of stories coming out now regarding Evraz in one way or another, nearly all have negating slants. I see this as quite positive, it may seem as it the big money is getting ready for opening hours and want unfettered access to EVR with little competition.

Not quite sure why you blame the E.U, or maybe I am! is it not in effect every nation that has looked the other way to the actions of russia whilst filling themselves at the russian trough? Be it German car exporters, French wine producers British property owners who are more than happy to sell their multi million London pads for inflated prices or even (Oh my) the corrupt tories who have sold their collective souls for filthy russian lucre no questions asked, even elevating them to The House of Lords? I really don't think anyone has the privilege of holding themselves above others in these matters.

Is that not assuming that they are listed on no other approved exchanges? Hong Kong is approved for instance. I don't see that they would only have one listing.

Many here know more than me, but EVR if needed could be listed on a number of exchanges which still qualify under ISA rules. Even if not, this does not in my understanding stop divi's being paid out. Maybe others could provide more information.

You're working really hard to try to find negatives, (and hard work never hurt anybody). But for many this is Investing, not day trading. Some are in it for a medium (6 to 12 months) and many for longer terms. They have not based their view on transient bumps in the road but considered risks. If you cannot see any positives, or are not invested, why are you here?

That's your view, I'm OK with that. It would though be nice to have had some form of justification rather that just a subjective statement for your own purposes, don't you think?

It may or may not be on the LSE, that is unknown to us all, it will certainly not be ONLY on the MOEX, as now it will be on others exchanges, some approved. Why is that your only bone of contention? Is that because you cannot disprove any of the other points?

1. What is said about the dividend potential, both historical and that going forward?
2. His valuations are based on unreasonable timeframes, 2027! Really?
3. Does not value non russian holdings in any way (as these would be three times present stock price alone).
4. Forgets history where things settle down and return to normal quite quickly.
5. Though it may be at slightly lower prices, he makes no reference to increasing sales to non aligned countries or the unrestricted sales and working outside.#

Are you proposing that the russians would fly over to the states or canada, disassemble the plants and take them away? Are you proposing that their respective governments would not hold these safe for the good of their workers, or until the share holders were compensated?
