Which part of the business did Apollo want when they were looking at it? Was Ingenuity what they wanted or the rest?

Another question ... if the shorts don't have the physical shares tomorrow and the institutions that 'loaned' them want the ability to take the 1 for 1 allotment ... will the shorts be compelled to purchase back shares tomorrow / before deadline?

Just seems like a very 'fast' raise.

I don't really get why there seems to be an expectation of an increased SP tomorrow. Surely this placing falls below current SP so entice new and existing holders. Then once submitted there's a load of additional shares in the pool. The benefit comes at the time of the spin off I'd have thought?

Maybe it the end of a long day and I'm missing something...

October 31st is the Autumn trading statement. In theory if they are running to expectation, the EBITDA level should be similar to H1 of 76m and they should be able to shed some light on where net debt will end up at year end. Just needs to drop from that 560 to show both profitability and cash generation on the horizon.

Strange that this drop kicks in hard during a period where insiders can't buy.

WT, I've bought at 199, 195, 192, 188 ... as well as plenty from 217 down. Just buying 1500-2K at a time. Sold all my MMAG last week so plenty of ammo, but cautious of that rout to 115 type level that happened before. Also sold some of my IQE on basis it might retrace a little if it fails to breakthrough 20p soon.

Could end up being heavily into SYNT if the drop continues. Not seeing too much value out there other than this one right now. Markets' a gloomy space!

More convinced there's a short messing around under the threshold or a build about to happen now that Canarcord's chipped in with a downwards price revision (with no recent news to influence it). It's like the last piece of the playbook ... hedge fund calls broker to remind them of the business they put through them and why certain tickers need some 'revisions'.

I'd say you're right TYLO. Buried themselves with that ATM/Rental expense nonsense and they've got too many recent competitive entrants to deal with on another front. It's a forced sale ... the alternative was likely to be something far more sinister in 2025 when the cash would have run dry. If 9p (and don't forget that's more like 20-25m with the debt) was the best attainable ... then so be it.

It's got 54% approval so should easily get the shares for the other 21%.

Well it now looks like a short is closing. Spread range widening and the 'seller/selling' seems to have hit pause at the very least.

Like you say Lolly, this just needs some good news around contract wins and some sustainability in revenue growth. There will be a critical point at which that revenue level hits the overhead recovery level it needs to and the bottom line will rise from the depths!

That money can do a lot in 3 months ... a lot of opportunity out there to eclipse that return. I sold everything bar 100k 'just in case'!

Who knows what tomorrow will bring. Just a sit and wait for the 220s and buy more if it nudges 200. Last year update was in November so reckon we will have another month of floating in the low numbers. Expecting some rosier outlook in the next update …or rather hoping!

Well the company is worth what people are prepared to pay for it. Unfortunately for some, 10m was the number. More than what Mazuma and Gazelle went for. I think AO will very quickly work out they can't manage it in-house and sub the work out to MTR or similar. Ebay slashing private sale fees to zero will also have a decent size impact on all web based trade-in activity. Will turn out to be a timely exit I think.

WT ... started buying yesterday and bought a few lots today. Got a felling I should have waited for sub 205 but it's impossible to know. Such low volume drags it down so rapidly each time.

Wonder if this is the end of the AM rise and PM drop ... played the same and sold what was bought sub 17 yesterday but have a feeling they won't be bought back again later. A little bit more volume going through so far today.

Yep me too WT. Was not in for that big push downwards to 200 so got for 207 unfortunately. Will hold for the 220's again as a minimum. Would quite like it to push down to 200 and below as I think I'd have relative confidence in a build into an update. Certainly willing to throw the dice on a good size holding if it goes sub 200.

Sort of think all you can do is go with it. The trend has been small rise in the morning and a dump in the afternoon for past 5 or so days, so whilst it's slim pickings there has been a bit to mess around with and drop average a little. Let's see if this afternoon brings the 16.50 into play. It's all guess work but I don't think it's a big seller ... more like maintained pressure to create a build opportunity or a few shorts co-ordinating below 0.5% stateside. Who knows but I still have faith this will rebalance into the mid-20s at some point ... might be longer than the few weeks I'd hoped though!

Very much doubt Jon Lam's experience at Mazuma will be lending itself to Bamboo considering MMAG! Management take this private or accept £12-14m (debt free) ... nought else on the table after this amount of time.

Report out recently saying refurb mobile pricing is up 6%. Problem is supply and on that front MMAG should be in reasonable shape.

With a bid needing to be at least at a multiple of 3 if not 4 from here to be credible ... I don't think we'll see anything.

If I was looking, I'd have sold at 64 this morning. Missed it. This needs news flow around business/results/holding to kick it into action.
