If Corbyn came in with McDonnell as chancellor and Abbott as home or foreign secretary I would buy a one way ticket out of here. As for Brexit, I thought I lived in a democracy. Irrespective of the rights and wrongs of staying in the EU, which I don't want to discuss, the referendum went in favour of leaving. I view a Parliamentary system as equivalent to the BODs relationship to shareholders of a company - it is a practical way to run the country on behalf of the voting public but to adhere to their democratic vote to the letter. Our Parliament, after over 3 years, has manifestly chosen to procrastinate and therefore deliberately obstruct carrying out the populations decision. In the meantime other business of he house has arguably been neglected. I have no doubt that a great many MPs still hope to overturn the 2016 (yes 2016) vote. That vote had a turnout of over 72%, far higher than any General Elections has achieved in the last 20 years It's a disgrace that the MPs patronisingly think they know better than their constituents that voted them in and are tryng to ignore their will. Do I live in a democracy? I'm not sure I do at the moment. Yes I do feel strongly about it, can we talk about AAU please?!

As a past shareholder (who tried to convince friends to follow my lead) I have grave concerns. I'm unconvinced by the ability of top management, operating in eastern Europe with the Chinese as a major customer. If there was a few sub Saharan African links thrown in you'd have all the ducks in a row.
I wanted to believe in this but I do wonder if this is ever going to go anywhere. I read a post on a thread for a different company earlier 'This is not a deramp as I have no intention of coming back in here', and I'll say the same. I do hope it works out for shareholders but please remain objective.

And the price of copper has since slipped..... From memory the company need over $3 just to break even - that is not providing a profit. Due to my long term involvement I still watch what's happening, but with these economics all I can see is that the company is continuing for the benefits of employees (itself not objectionable) but not really for shareholders. I think anyone still invested should really question the long term future for their investment here

Can I ask a question of the oilies here.
Dr T mentioned in the CMD presentation that if you were using ESPs you couldn't suck too hard for fear of sucking up aquafer water 'against gravity'. If the pressure is occurring naturally without the need to pump is it safe to let it flow at the maximum unassisted rate without fear of aquafer water appearing?

In fairness I don't think BJ can be compared to the orange one. He is a risk but he is intelligent. Don't be fooled by the buffoon act. Hunt wouldn't be my choice, bland and self important and many in this country wont forgive him with his stance on the NHS.

You are obviously well read about AAU and events that may influence its development and value to investors. Can I ask that all on the board moderate what we say and try to get on with each other going forwards, I think we will all feel the benefit from that.

I was lucky enough to ride the Dana journey (and a very pleasant ride it was too), and though not buying in immediately (thankfully) also held Parkmead for some years until I got bored. What happened here, was TC a one trick pony, albeit a good trick? Nearly 10 years on this has gone nowhere, and with the main man presumably approaching retirement age (and not short of a few bob with which to enjoy it) I do wonder if it ever will. I think Malcy gave up on the Company due to its lack of openness - 3 RNS in 2019 and here we are nearly in August. Sadly, though still on my radar, not one for me.

We have had our fingers crossed for longer than I care to remember! Lets hope for good Tavsan news, maybe (just maybe) good AS results from current drilling and an increase in POG.

To hear of imminent Tasvan development would really help, especially as the repayment of the loan is predicted to be only 12 months. That and a significant further increase in POG/POS would drive the SP - I see NE Turkey as a much slower burner unless on of the RC drills stumbles upon the fabled HM2

True M2, but after the AS stockpiles are exhausted mid 2020 we can expect a drop in grade when AN and Derya are the main source - but by then of course that loan should have been repaid and so the possible lower financial result each quarter will nonetheless represent higher net cash to the 2 JV partners.

Yes Paul. That was pretty much my impression as he said that nothing yet had been drilled deeper than the current 'floor'. As you say as part of the minimizing of the ecological/aesthetic impact they need to back fill - but they obviously want to make sure they aren't ignoring a good bit before covering it up. So is this just a reassurance prior to filling or do they think there is something to find? In the former case I just don't want to see a SP plunge when/if they confirm there is nothing , and it would be good PR to signal the purpose of the drill in that case.
