Where did you get those figures from? I would have thought Russia needs $25 and US shale needs $45, not the other way round or am I misunderstanding?

Nothing stinks, they have just successfully raised money and have powerful investors on board. They have an amazing product.
BUT
The world is a funny place at the moment, the markets are open but in disarray - what are good equities at the moment, what are bad? Its just guesswork and the market is simply trying to cope. No conspiracies.
I have invested, I'm down, but I'm not watching like a hawk as there is no point. My advice to everyone here is simple. The company is in good hands, has cash, has a plan. Stop trying to analyse things that cannot be analysed in these mad times. Don't spend your lives in front of the computer screen, get out and get exercise. If the company comes thorough this you will make money, if it doesn't you will lose. This was never a share for widows and orphans, just live with it but don't give yourselves blood pressure problems over it.

Who knows. We can only guess what the 'New World' will look like, and how much this will revert to the 'Old World ' and how quickly. Regarding oil, these are only considerations for the demand side. How the supply side will be managed/ manipulated is every bit as important for PoO.
I think there will be more wfh in future, now that companies have found that they have robust systems that work, and have in most cases workers who can be trusted not to lie in bed all day eating pizza - in turn that leads to a question on office space rentals so maybe a black mark for some property companies. And the importance of London (though that is a larger leap).
This situation has also put another nail or 2 into the high street retail coffin - many reluctant internet shoppers have had their arm twisted into shopping on line and once they have their confidence they probably wont return to their previous habits. Property companies, other than those supplying warehouse type facilities, will again take a hit. Interesting times chaps/ chapesses

Yes LW, the media have been sensationalist, relishing bad news. However cant pretend that life wont be affected in the short term - always makes me smile when people leap off combined pavements/cycle paths into the dog poo infested undergrowth as I pant and wheeze towards them. They are scared of little me and the appalling mayhem I could cause them!
But life will eventually return to normal, of that I am sure. How many times have people of our age heard that life will never be the same again because of x, y or z? But it will take a good year, maybe 2 but no more.

A week is a long time in...….oil. The world seems to be waking up and heading tentatively towards normality. A week ago all the headlines for oil were negative. Now? Personal transport use is predicted higher because of a natural reluctance to use public transport, even though that will still run to timetables. Shipping will start again with the possible exception of a big reduction on cruise liners - even that may not be true as a 'kin big ship is surely a place where distancing is more possible. Airlines seem the obvious loser in terms of volume though non frivolous use, but again if Governments dictate an 'every other seat' policy then the reduction in traffic may not be as marked as expected. So if within months demand is not so far off the norm but with the supply side more focused and united on the need to protect their income who knows where we may be with PoO?

Appreciate your opinion Pecten, but personally as far as I am concerned a once and for all filter removes for all time any danger of reading anything provocative enough to prompt the longed for reply/attention. So I will stick with my solution I think.

I think my tardiness was due to knowing that from now on the strings will be punctuated by little green messages from LSE. Usually my filters are johnnycomelatelys and flybynights who come then go like mayflys. I like to keep up with the board even though I don't have a great deal to contribute. But I sometimes don't read because there may be 100 messages or more in the day, half of which are infighting! I don't know how someone can spend so much time writing so much about something they don't like. if I found I was doing that I'd take up origami or knitting to fill the excess hours.

I'm usually quick to filter people, maybe too quick sometimes. I've been very slow in doing this but bartlebobton I have now filtered you. Please do the same to me. The constant sniping from one who I believe holds no shares is unbelievable. Thousands upon thousands of posts about a company (and other posters here) you appear to detest. I don't see how anyone normal would get their rocks off on that

Know what you are getting at, it was amateurish, guess my point was that I have 'invested' (ha ha) in several companies who talked the talk. But sadly didn't walk the walk, to my financial detriment. Hopefully Dr T and his mob do the latter well and are pants at the former - because that is surely preferable. Anyway, a couple of glasses of red followed the gin rather foolishly so time for early kip. Agree it would be nice to have Q&A. Early sign the world is emerging from lockdown, has to be good for oil demand.

Think you were all a bit Harsh on Dr T. I assume the CMD presentation needn't have been published? We should be thankful it was, though even I (who tries to be nice to everyone unless I've had too much gin) admit that I am trying to watch it a second time but keep failing to stay awake. Cant be too critical of the presentation, even though Dr T is certainly no John Bishop. Mind you, don't think I'd necessarily employ the Bish as a Geologist.

Trading isn't a bad call at the moment, even with the extreme spread of this share.
Putting stuff off for a couple of months certainly has created the prospect of a period of aimless drifting, especially with little news due (though I guess the Q1 financials are due mid May - I will be looking at costs there). I did my usual attempt at reading between the lines at todays RNS, did seem to imply publishing a development schedule for Tavsan may precede the extended MOU date - or am I being hopeful?

I don't regard myself as glass half full or half empty to be honest. Always conscious of not falling in love with a share (but I was in danger of doing so here once).
I try to be objective, which is why I post here rather than on ADVFN, which I find has a lot of posters who would ramp up any news good or bad. People here are generally well informed with structured argument to put forward.
We have another 2 months to twiddle our thumbs after today!
ps does anyone understand the situation at EUA, they have been suspended for ages - don't know if that is likely to have a good ending or a bad? Certainly don't want to plough through the 400 odd posts that are on there every day!
