More importantly just read a story about problems with the Valkyrie - not sure whether its just a journalist wanting to write a story. The car isn't itself that significant financially but its image and PR value is significant.

I don't think too much about this anymore, become a bottom drawer share.
I don't have, or pretend to have, any knowledge or educated opinion on oil fields to share. I never have.
However looking at personalities, it seems odd to me that the opinion of possibly the greatest expert in fractured basements (based on many years of data gathering, analysis and early production) has seemingly been overturned in months by the 'new broom' who seem more corporate experts than oilmen. Was the previous CPR actually a IPR (work it out). Is the CP independent or does he/she simply rubber stamp his paymasters opinion (bit like PWC, Ey etc. do on audits......)? In the latter case then the technical committee report (whoever they are) is effectively the next CPR.
My biggest hope is some continued recovery in PoO, as the world realises we are way off being the yogurt knitters that strange Greta thinks ideal (remember her?)

Obvious thing to state but its a very different situation to be sitting on the sidelines deciding whether to invest, rather than being invested wondering whether to stay in! Likely to only dip a (small) toe in and await trading updates before committing more. The future doesn't seem clear for Hyve at the moment. So difficult in these industries badly affected by Covid in the medium not just the short term (others being airlines, travel companies, office space, high street retail, restaurant and pub chains etc.)

I may have mentioned on here previously that I am an 'old' holder (in more ways than one) and traded ITE quite successfully in the so called 'noughties'. I wanted to establish the true impact of Covid, given that the companies immediate future clearly has problems (as is the case for so many sectors). I guess yesterdays SP leap was a result of Putins vaccine announcement, cant see any other reason for it

Trying to make sense of the SP, which appears to have been 3000p at the end of 2019. SInce then there has been some sort of share split and a rights issue. Could someone precis what the holder of say 100 shares in December 2019, and who took up their full rights (at 69p?) would now hold? Thanks

I'm not an oilman, but I like to think logical. Isn't perched water attached to the aquifer just an upwards dead end whose base is in the aquifer, per the one area illustrated in the video? Furthermore what little oil has been extracted (relative to previous published reserves) wouldn't have moved the OWC unless those reserves were massively overestimated - which to my mind means that there is an awful lot of granite and very few fissures containing the black stuff, so that production to date has already significantly depleted available oil? Confused.com.

Glad you wrote that . I was just re watching the Lancaster EPS part of the CMD. There is an interesting video in there showing perched v aquifer water and the related pressure differentials. It explains why you would have different effects on water cut after shut ins, as in perched scenario the water is overpressured and in the other under. I am hoping that the 7z behaviour after its most recent shut in hasn't contradicted Dr Ts CMD conclusions. Has 7z drilled a large upward dead end? Surely from the original wells there was a very good estimate of OWC, and I don't think anyone would accuse Dr.T of falsification of evidence, I certainly wouldn't.

GLA is a great sentiment! Reading again we have 'which has incorporated both existing and new data'. Re. analysis of existing data, it is of course subject scientific interpretation (covid-19 scientific advice anyone?). But the 'new data' part is worrying, or am I just looking for problems?

Does seem that after ousting Dr.T there has been an incredibly rapid re-appraisal of the model, which had been evolved over a period of years and wasn't even being qualified at the CMD presentation after a considerable period of production. So was Trice just a dictator unchallenged in his views even by the competent person? Who is Hurricanes technical committee? I'd like to know Trices' opinion on this but I don't suppose we will get it

I keep looking at this, wondering whether to dip a toe in. Me and ITE have history, must be 15 years ago and I made a very tidy return at the time. The fall in share price makes me wonder about reinvesting but the current situation does worry me. Just when will exhibitions return to anything like 'normal'. Could be two or three years? Can they bridge that gap financially without collapsing? Any impartial informed opinions would be welcome from anyone who knows the company better than I do now.

Glad you aren't sticking pins in me just jet but slightly alarmed that you appear to be reserving the right to do so!
Pleased that the most commonly supported football team on this board has done so well. From memory it was a bit touch and got the end of last season.
