I didnt want to divulge more info than I already have, but the info on domiciling Kaz business on LSE came about when I asked the person what he/she would do once POLY abandons London. He/she said to me POLY Kaz business would be listed in London once the business is split and so the person would be staying in London to facilitate and manage business here in London.

OBZ...the article mentions split but doesnt mention listing of Kaz business on the LSE. POLY IR told me they will list the Kaz business on the LSE and keep Russian business listed on AIX.

I did not pre-empt any info, merely relayed info obtained from IR.

Nesis and POLY pulled rabbit out of the hat yesterday. Redom to Kaz is to facilitate split of the business between Russian and Kaz, de-risk and re-engage Russian business, start payment of divis and once split...relist Kaz business on the LSE. POLY shareholders will hold shares in 2 companies, one listed on LSE and another on AIX.

Bb...if you recall, after meeting in Jan I was the first one to supply info on redom to Kaz, Abu Dhabi and Hk in that order, that was after speaking to POLY IR. this was proved to be true. In fact, every comment I posted on my dialog with POLY IR at the time came true.

Im not mincing words here chique. IR told me the process to split business commences on redom and POLY will keep Russian business domiciled in Kaz but the rest of the world business will be listed here in London. This is significant news.

Just spoke to POLY investor relations on redom matters. They told me other than dealing through brokers, we can create an account with AIX depository right now. To register our shares, we will need to wait till 30 May when we will get a unique code, we use that to complete registration.

On wider matters, IR told me the business will start process of splitting into 2 companies as soon as redom to Kaz in July, Russian and Kaz. The Kaz company will then redom back to LSE and this will happen sometime next year. If you recall, Nesis did say Kaz business alone was worth lot more than current sp.

This makes holding POLY an absolute no brainer, probably the best safe investment on stock market today.

I go by the fundamentals and imo they dont stack up.

You are saying a significant portion of CINE ROW assets are separate, not part of the lien provided to or placed by the lenders and backed up by a written agreement which makes it beyond reach of creditors. These assets belong to CINE shareholders. In the murky world of the mooksters, only the mookster and those smart enough to unearth it like your goodself have any knowledge of existence of such an agreement. The mookster in your opinion will want to hold onto the CINE ROW business and to do so will have to make a bid for the shares and this will be many times the mkt value as of today.

Pandamonia...I must admit I did not think the jolt to sp would be of magnitude we suffered yesterday. Now the news is out and in the system and sp is holding. I thought POLY would kick the can down the road, assess situation again towards end of year but they faced it head on. In hindsight a good decision imo. May be next levels of EU sanctions which will target companies/parties using third parties to avoid sanctions may have something to do with bringing it forward.

As regards trading, Nesis did ay that being domiciled in non friendly jurisdiction was hampering business in Russia in many ways including obtaining of new licenses. Right now is probably the best time to obtain new licenses at knock down prices on account of lack of competition. Further, Nesis also mentioned wanting to derisk POLY from any potential future state control in Russia which may happen in response to tighter and tighter sanctions from the west.

Other pertinent factors include:

Redom will allow payment of divis

Splitting Russian business from the rest of POLY

Nesis said Kaz business alone was worth way more than current POLY sp Redom would attract more institutional investors in the company

Corporate governance will be maintained at levels required by UK FCA

POLY would continue search for exchanges to list GDR after redom and

POLY is looking to diversify portfolio to include Central Asian Republics

I disagree with your assessment on gold price for reasons we have already discussed on this board. High prices are here to say for a good few years given state of global geo-politics.

New setup is clearly not suited to frequent traders who have/will liquidate holdings, but this will be more than offset by institutional holdings. And there is still hope that a restructured POLY will one day return to the LSE or another friendly jurisdiction.

In the meantime we can look forward to hefty divis year in year out.

@chique...Im still learning and yes something like how youve explained. Not had time to properly look into it just yet.

JBZ explained it as " I am now heavily leaning towards waiting to see where my broker lands, then requesting paper and uploading my holding onto Tabys to collect my divis (don't really need to trade). Seems quite painless."

Now think makes sense to register online if youre in it for the long haul like me. Yet to decide if through broker or directly with the exchange.

I wont be making any decision for few days until I gain more understanding of whats involved.

I stress, as you are holding in Kaz, dont forget to tell the next of kin of your holdings just in case.......

@chique....Right now, NDs approach looks ok to me. Hold paper cert to start with and then review after a while. Make sure you update your next of kin about it in case you get run over. I ii give it about a week before making decision.
