As regards brexit I feel without a deal a knee jerk effect will be felt but there is nothing specific that effects the aviation sector. It will simply be dragged along with the overall markets.

George. I am still in deep here and a de-ramper I am certainly not. Realist yes. Airlines don’t make plans for the next couple of weeks, years ahead are factored in. The disposal of the 747’s early were part of the plan.
I am in the aviation business and pre pandemic I travelled a million miles a year. Now obviously I go nowhere and it has made little difference. Large corporates will take notice of this. The life blood of BA is long haul mainly for business. This of course is only my honest opinion.

I don’t see passengers ever returning in the numbers that used the lucrative routes prior to the pandemic. A new way of working has been born out of this mess which when we return to normal will see overseas travel slashed. Forget getting back to the numbers who used airlines for business in 2019. It will not happen. LC will get back to normal pretty quickly. BA will never employ the numbers it had. If you are one of the casualties in the cull find another vocation. The slimmed down BA will make it but it will take top management to make it happen.

1969. I think your post sums it up about right. The loss as with most airlines has been factored in to some extent and sp has been cushioned by the vaccine news. If this can hold above 700 today in my opinion the only way will be up in the long run.
