I'm in the same boat Kami.... just for clarity, I wasnt advising you to buy. I was pointing out that the share release at 0.05 is our opportunity to partake in something equivalent to the Placing price.
That said, if I had some investment cash I would buy at these prices. ....

I doubt you will find anyone that is Happy with this..... but you keep listening to the voices in your head.....

This was/is actually the opportunity for us PIs to load up at lower prices..... it has been complained about often enough that we dont get to be involved in any cut price share issues.... but this is our opportunity to do just that....

If you believe in the company narrative of ESIA, FS and application for Mining licence this year, along with reasonable funding routes being pursued then you would think that 0.05 is the base and the only way is up.

Of course if you are sceptical on any of these points then equally you might consider/expect further downside..... but that is the difficult call.

SorB, none of the trades are below the 0.05 .... i dont think this can be anything other than the sales of the Kodal held shares.....
I think the Placing shares get issued tomorrow at a lower price than 0.05, so the question will be .... are any of those shares going to hit the market....... I cant see that happening though..... why would a holder sell any of their shares at the same time as there is still a tranch being passed out at a fixed (low) price by the company.
Late flurry of trades though.... Kodal might actually clear their shares by tomorrow. Then it will be free to rise again on news (when it comes).

It's just a study, but the financing of it is a further indication that Mali is being seen as a place to invest in Lithium ... thus far only Kodal have that supply chain investor, however "a single swallow does not a summer make". I've always said positive news for MLL is good for us and vice versa because it confirms interest in the region and therefore increases the chances of funding for other viable projects.

As you always say..... funding is key..... the more people looking at Mali the better. Imo

In fact.... further to my previous comment.... you will see that (assuming sells are misreported buys due to the LSE algorithm failing to handle this situation) the bigger the volume trade, the lower the price...... so conversely to normal service..... bigger trades get better deals because until the market clears Kodals shares there is no risk to them..... they are guaranteed to buy them at 0.05.
Anyone have a different explanation of how this playing out?

Private Investors wishing to take part in this raise should buy the current shares at .055 imo. The cheaper placement shares are going to undisclosed buyers and there is no guarantee that they will make it to the market at a price less than currently seen.....
There is more chance in my opinion of those placement shares being held at least until the coming news flow is passed..... just speculating on that... but seems sensible to me

Donny, my reading of it is that these are the SVS shares and Kodal are selling them at .05 through the Market..... the price therefore "should" stay at these levels until the shares are sold..... the 0.055 includes the cut to the Market....
I'll be proved wrong tomorrow..... just wait and see. What do I know.

Placing shares yes.... at less than 3% they dont have to announce who it is......
For the existing shares, if the RNS heralded their release to the market at 0.05 then we should be angry at the trades north of 0.055..... means the MMs are taking way too much of a cut imo.
The placing shares dont get admitted until 31st. But I'm assuming the held shares could be out now with a fixed price.

I agree SorB.... there is an under handedness about that..... there is a reason for every season as the song says..... but I wonder if they realise how obvious these timings make it that at least one agenda is obscured.
We are expected to hold on to what we have based upon the expectation of (unarguably) Kodal defining news in the next 2 months.
Nothing in this RNS about how we get our hands on the 0.05p shares.... so I'm assuming we need to keep a stiff upper lip..... hold our noses ..... and buy from the Market when the price dips.

I know you aren't lauding the social situation InI but you are correct on the market impact.... closing bell in Australia noted lithium stocks were the biggest commodity risers.

That's not negative SorB. We all know how bad 2019 is and the problems they are having trying to expand production from brinefields.
It just highlights that the lithium market is a complicated one..... and it is obvious from the wide range of opinions that a lot of commentators dont understand it yet......

Im calling it pessimistic because
1. It has been stated that the FS is looking at a 9 to 10 year LOM
2. There is no point bringing a 2 year LOM to the table......nobody would fund that.... nobody.

So truthfully, you are supporting the view that the FS will be based on the first 2 to 3 years of production only?......

All I can say is thank goodness we will be getting the FS soon.... I doubt I can keep my optimism for life up much longer.... .. not when you add Brexit into the mix....

I dont disagree with the 3.1mte being for DFS only.... but we have been told that the analysis done so far on the rest of the currently explored areas support the FS.... I'm only pointing out that your pessimism on the remaining assets ignores this.
You would be right to be pessimistic under your assertion.... because nobody would fund a 2 year mine life.....

Joking aside.... I think the Brazilian presentation gives some good information. Wouldnt it be good to have something similar by say mid november?
Im guessing their pilot plant probably paid for itself 10 times over in supporting their FS and current shareprice.... even sounds better saying "pilot plant trials " instead of "lab based testing".
