Another messed up LSE day? One new message listed but the last one showing is yesterday at 9.....

I think we have done well to stay level today.... did you see the heat map? The markets are taking a shoe'ng today....

In particular I note this quote from Chris, regarding Mali Lithium routes for funding:

"With the exploration permit granted in March, the mining permit is the last one needed, and the company announced July 31 that it was with the prime minister's office. Evans said that once it is granted in the coming weeks, Mali Lithium will be seen as "less risky" and therefore more likely to secure off-take prepayments."

So they are looking to forward sell after the mining permit is received..... cant see why the same strategy can't be adopted with Kodal..... as I keep saying, we wont have funding confirmed until the mining permit is issued, but after that it should be all systems go in my opinion.
There is also no reason why BA cant make the same statement even if we are 4 to 6 month out on this target...

That was my thought.... was it mistaking nominee accounts for IIs? Seems like a schoolboy error though.

Thanks for posting this article..... has anyone found a list of the 59% institutional investors? Anyone above 3% is notifiable, so do we have 30 minnow investments from institutions or a few big apples? I think it affects a few of the arguments that pop up on this chatboard, so would be worth finding out.

I think the chinese input in the last raise was simply to maintain their percentage from slipping too much. A nominal value compared to anything they have put in to date. I fail to read anything else into that to be honest.... good or bad.
There is no defense against the claims of a doomsday scenario that you guys are talking about without newsflow..... so I'm obviously hoping they deliver their promises in August and September.... at the very least to respond to the negative viewpoints here.
On the cost of production comment though....the $500 /te (apparently reducing as details are firmed up) mentioned by BA a couple of times last year was against the DMS route only.... the economics of holding the fines for later processing almost becomes a separate project.... best to assume the fines arent further processed until the required plant expansion is proposed and separately costed...
My reckoning of what we have been told so far is a DMS is inefficient but cheap.... and it is the basis of the current development plan we are about to be updated on by the end of September....
I dont think we can say more (positive or negative)..... without conflating what we have already been told.

1st day of Q3, H2 2019..... if BA is true in what he says this will be a defining few months.... and this time next year we will be talking up the prospect of achieving 2020 production (I'm hoping we still can use those terms but I'm sure we will debate it anon between now and then).

It won't be a long 5 months if they get a grip and start delivering and just as importantly communicate..... whether or not we fully believe the communications will I'm sure be a matter for debate on here... but ffs not telling us the ins and outs of why a new capital raise was required before any of the potentially positive news we are told is coming in the next 6 weeks is unacceptable....
It stinks.... they made the effort to fly everyone over for the cash raise presentation, but not the effort to give us 'part owners' of the company any information.
Is the agm date set yet? If not they should announce it asap or I'm with the call for an egm before then..... 2 months will be too long to wait imo.

I'm annoyed but we should have seen this coming when they brought the team over to this investor conference. It has been played out before with BA .... investor presentation followed by a raise a week later.
Very disappointed to be honest and I agree we are being treated shabbily.
Couple of positives though
1. Mostly buys at the cheap prices....
2. The dates are now RNS'd for report delivery. I.e the now officially late ESIA, mid august and the others in September....

I reckon they are royally p##sed about it.... in fact I'm sure that was a question BA answered in an interview some time ago.... but he also said they believed in the project and that the best way to get value back into the shareprice was to continue with the program to get into production.... I know you are averse to believing what he says.... but it is an answer to the question you just asked.... lol

I have my own brand of due dilligence, that includes the chinese investment and their position in the supply chain as a response to some specific concerns.... when I added everything together I came up on the positive side and invested..... did I take the Chinese due diligence as a positive? Yes..... did i give it too much credence?..... i dont think so but time will tell.
You are right.... experts in this are to be listened to and taken with a certain pinch of salt. But they should be listened to.....

I think the English version of the ESIA when it finally comes will confirm the reasons and impact of the river reroute.
I must confess, that looking at the resource map, I assumed it was to keep it suitably away from the mine ... but that was an assumption

IBiB, i'm backtracking as the statement "done for fraud" was incorrect... and therefore obviously libellous ... the events an investigations on Birimian were 2 whole boards ago, resulted in the share suspending trading for a period of time while the investigation went on. It's well documented on the MLL webpages so really no need for me to dig a bigger hole for myself. Daz was correct, I was wrong to state fraud and I've asked for my posts to be removed, which shouldnt affect the excellent research posted by SnT earlier in the day.
And finally, BiB, no I dont have issues. I was merely suggesting that due diligence would have been done by our major investor at the time, considering what other acquisitions they were/had been looking at.

You are very right Daz. .. I cant remember if he was charged.... he was investigated....I'm sure of that. Is there not an RNS on the company website about it?

I'm personally happy that snt has pulled together this list of information. I dont think it shows BA as worse than many other AIM directors in the mining sector but it gives us ammunition to affect his future ventures if the same were to happen again. Proof that he is well and truly on peoples radars now.....
In my opinion because Kodal are far closer to production than any previous (or other current) venture that this is Bernard's Nirvana.... he has been hoping for this from the start.
I'm not going to repeat my funding arguments now as I'm too busy trying earn my crust but I dont think we will obtain funding until Q4 when the permits are issued.... but I am confident that it will happen. All imo....gla

Does the shareprice drop when 70% of the volume traded today has been higher than opening price?
These anomalies do my head in.....

I agree with BiB on this one..... we shouldnt have to attend the meetings to get responses from the company. Ok we can't expect them to answer 1000 emails but I'm guessing there are maybe 5 or 6 recurring questions that we are ALL waiting to find out more on.
Anyway.... they have a few days to issue the ESIA and 2 major reports to issue in August.... failure on these just before the AGM..... doesnt seem likely imo

Remind me....when are we expecting Q2results? Mid August?
