RE: AGM3 Oct 2019 12:57
SC currently have less than 28% of Kodal, Ive heard nothing to suggest that they want to fund the £60 - 70million through buying more of the company (up to 70% of...). That is only one route .... and would be detrimental to existing shareholders including the other board members ...
I certainly hope that is not the way it pans out and they cant raise this with their currently approved 50% share issue limit.
My hope is:
Standard loan for anything that can be used as security (plant, equipment etc). Could be agreed with SC or another lender.
Forward selling (at a discount) to pay for all other development works and infrastructure.
Remaining raises through share issues to cover operating costs until we are into production (and a little beyond if we 100% offtake forward sold) ...... and any other exploration/development work on our other concessions (hoping that this is limited at this stage).
That is my hope and seems sensible to me as it supports all parties in making money (a lot of money), while securing the resource for SC (which they will benefit from twice from their already significant stake in the company).
Wonder if we need to wait until the Feasibility study is issued, permit is applied for, or the permit is granted before this begins to be discussed.
