Me thinks that the fall in the value of our share has nowt to do with any ones narrow view of RBS and is about the future of the UK and what is going to happen in North America. This could be the start of a horrible bear market. A time to be careful, maybe. I was about to buy, but will hold back to see what this week holds.

Cycled 150 miles yesterday and can only relax which allows for thinking- in coming week it ought to be the moment for good news - the market for bank shares and RBS in particular ought to be positive as it rushes toward ' £2.50 '. Of course i could be hallucinating as I'm not fully hydrated. GLA

A fall was expected and made worse by Mr Trump however being as it is Friday we cannot expect the price to rise today. Next week when the results have been digested I expect the overreaction will be slowly corrected and the price will rise. I'm hopeful that we will see it get above 2.30 despite BorisTrump and all. What do reckon?

From what I read the fine spread across the guilty parties is not going to hit the bottom line hard. If the predictions are accurate for RBS half year then next week, or Friday this week we could see a nice rise. Of course nearer the exdiv. date a rise is a given but we should see a re-evaluation of RBS providing for a price nearer to £3. What say you?

I don't think it follows that the share price will rise significantly this week, but it will if the dividend is declared and as we near the ex-dividend date. Am I mistaken?

Does this mean another drop in the share price or will we be pleasantly surprised? Is there a hidden message that means we won't see a dividend with HMG owning more than 50%.

Just when I thought we might see a really good rise. Anyway we may see a 52 week high soon.

PSA at time of radical surgery was 4.2. After op less than 0.05. 3 months later 0.07. Now 0.17 and they are concerned such that I may have to have more treatment. I shall be 66 this month and had otherwise fully recovered and been cycling 150/200 miles per week. A young guy yesterday had forgotten his bus pass so I gave him a tenner and wished him well and walked on. Cancer puts everything into perspective or leaves you confused, a bit of both for me. Not been posting on here for some time. Prostate cancer has caused a rethink! With interest rates looking to rise and the inflation rate as well, is this likely to lead to a rise in the bank share prices? Is this too simplistic

Anyone thought they might buy into RBS??
