I am not saying it is failsafe.
However if you invest in shares you know there are risks.
Now the guy with 5000 at average of £1.60 is able to sell at £2.40 and gets £12000, for a £4000 profit, whereas the guy with 50,000 at £2.50 might wait a lot longer. Of course there is no worthy answer to your question but if the larger investor has an average of £2.50 he can afford to sell some at £2.40 as well. To him I might want to ask is it time to diversify, and a few other questions. In the morning I shall be looking for another spike, to sell and buy later. Its always good to take profits. If having sold half my holding I don't get back in then that's not a problem. Good luck HH, and thank you for your question because it has got me thinking.
