1. I wasn't talking to you specifically. It was a general moan at those trying to come up with price manipulation theories.

Why is it then when the sp goes down its manipulation and when it goes up, nothing is said (rhetorical)? If you think its a falsely low market you can always buy more, instead of dreaming up conspiracy theories.
But do do the maths. The number of share options that expire before the end of the month and are itm dwarf the size of the av daily volume. IMHO its not a fund raising, its more sellers than buyers caused by the options that the owners cant afford to take up w/o some selling - and when the sp goes down they have to sell more. Simples.

Isn't it just possible that they are working option sell orders? There are a lot of them to go! And just because a broker issues a buy note on a stock doesn't mean they cant accept sell orders...
