Archways. Your vote would I think preclude them from issuing options to directors and management as they couldn’t issue the new shares if the options got exercised. So the senior staff would need to be compensated in other ways, which is higher salaries. Which means higher fixed costs regardless of success. Options align management with shareholders. They are a good thing. There are always consequences to ones actions. This may be an unintended consequence of yours. I will be voting in favour as I trust the management. Otherwise I wouldn’t be invested.
The CGP offer was ill advised because it was both never going to succeed and far too generous at the same time. That’s some feat. It wasted management time and cost precious money. It was also going to dilute all the other non cascabel areas, like porvenir. One other thing, it was me who has consistently stated his dislike of NM. As one of the few here who has met the man, I am entitled to that opinion. I think addicknt has been much more even handed in his views of the man. And Quady you are now resorting to insults, one of the many things you say you don’t do. Often people do that when they have been proven wrong. Bit pathetic really. As for Bozo, not worth wasting my time on. Roll on the 75p bid, which I have upped from 45p on back of porvenir and new management.
RE: Looking forward to you tube interviews with gold on a run15 Apr 2021 21:04
Napth. I agree I like McLeod too. Not rushing on maguire that much. Sprott has some good people on ask the expert. Ke report occasionally has some good interviews from chartists. They are only about 12mins long.
Hydrogen, I take my cap off to you. How you knew it would all start 'next tuesday' I dont know, but you sure are in the loop. Some others less well informed should really read what you say a little more closely. Onwards and upwards...
You might want to listen to Proactive medias interview with Peter O'Connor of Shaw. Focus is on NC and GGP, but there is some good stuff on the NC/Solg relationship. He is obviously not so well versed on Ecuador, but interesting how he views the various roles in the outcome. 'BHP a financier'. Back to my retirement now....
Bozi (Mrs Pike), if you think this is bullying then you really are a bit of a snowflake. I would say its mild teasing and Quady (Frank Pike) is more than capable of looking after himself as has been proven on more than one occasion. All a bit of fun while some are making more money and others are just losing less!
Spot on Addicknt, but I wouldnt want him as my Lance Corporal!! The much smaller free float now plays into our hands. With so much tied up in the various long term holders, plus the few long term PIs that are left, the instos that want in will be fighting over a fairly small slice of the pie. Works both ways of course, but lets hope we have suffered enough of the selling, to now enjoy the buying.
RE: PRE feasibility study! Beware08 Apr 2021 16:01
We have these clowns on ggp board all the time atm. Paid bashers though often a bit more subtle than this chump. He is either warning everyone from the goodness of his heart or he has an axe to grind. Go figure...?
Zoros, maybe KM is trash talking NM so as to embarrass him and get him to resign. Trouble is old NM has a hide thicker than a rhino. But it would be lovely to seem him out of influence and off the bod. Solgold is a different company now. Professional and well led. Which should entice some instos, who may have rightly thought NM a CEO they didnt want to follow - to put it politely.
I think we have had a significant change in the bod in the past 6-9 months. Tough to change strategy when the ceo is implacably opposed to that change. So change the ceo and then you can start to assert the bods authority. So I expect the new ceo will be given a new ‘change of emphasis’ shall we say. Then it’s all systems to go to monetising these world class assets. Get the elections done and then onwards and upwards.
