I used to follow these and hold many thousands when they were a £1 and sold at about 95p ish, always thought they were a strong company and good profits but now they have done a deal with Carsberg to reduce debts etc there is no reason why they shouldn't go back up to the £1 mark in time. Soon with luck covid will be behind us and we can make progress again.

Another bit of good news and faith that we are going in the right direction, Is that 3 directors now bought since the results come out.

What is urprising is that many investors here only see aml as the brand that everyone would like to own and so buy the shares regardless of the companies position, but if you take a step back and just look at the company , the debt the sales and profit , and now the Moodts down grade you can see why this is trading down against the general market. So if you take a realistic view of the money and outlook How long before this goes to junck state by some broker. Maybe 50p is a good price to sell at.

Yes not looking good for today, but is this the start of coming to terms with it's money problems ahead.

Good god that's a lot of shares and less than 1p so it's only a question of time surely before there is a consolidation of shares to what well by 10 I guess and then they can raise more money at £3.00 each.

After all that's been going on with our last results and covid etc it's about time we had a few new broker up-dates as the last one was back in Feb i think.

There are few negative / short posters on here that just love winding others up just to get a response, but it clearly shows they don't know what they are talking about.

The only rns about to come out is the one that says sales still increasing profit likely to be higher than first stated and by the way we DON'T need to issue any more shares to raise more money as debt is well under control.

Reports sales growth up 10% which means those food sales must come from manufactures and some of that could come from pfd. Now I wonder if the other supermarkets will also show that good growth. PFD could be on it's way up to 80p soon.

What are you on about it sounds to me like you are just talking rubbish.
Where have you been for the last 5-10 years. There more people employed, people have had more money and better quality and standards of life than ever before.
OK some people are not as well off but that's the way the world works, so who are all these people in charge that tell all the lias and who would you replace them with. Cons / Labour / greens / etc, and what would you do to change things now. Come on let's have your big ideas to put the world to rights.

Always good news but I couldn't see his % on there but he must be about 30% now surley.

He has so many spades he should use them to dig his self out of that great big hole he has put his self into.
He just loves winding everyone up, just look at his rants about the government NOT coming on his morning show to discuss things so he does his best to make them look bad but all the time he carries on like this they will never come on his show. I think it's getting to the point where he is doing more harm to itv than good. He is too much about him and will have to go very soon.

I am getting to the point where i don't see anyone making a takeover offer.
Surely after such a long time of pfd being out of favour with anyone due to debts and pension etc and now with the long term prospects looking so good with profits and pension sorted and lower debts I would have thought that if any company was interested they would strike now before the sp goes to £1. But it doesn't look as if anyone will bid, so just how far will the sp raise without a bid. ? 75p -80p. ?

Funny isn't it that I guess many of us have also been following AML but vs pfd , PFD should be well ahead with lower debt and making profit , but when you look at aml and the fact that it's gone bust what about 7 times and now has hugh debt level and just raised what about £700m this year and still not making a profit the company seems to have a very big following.
However I still think PFD has a better future and will hit £1 before aml.
So come on PFD get moving uo now, please.

We all know that Stroll has good intentions and he thinks he can make a go of it. but it's not always in there control and things have a habbit of running away from managment teams no matter what they try to do.
So they floated at what about 1900 , then they raised another £536m 2 months ago now they raised another £152m plus bits to give them £207m wiggle room, and still haven't made any profit. Next rns / trading up-date will be no better if not a lot worse so just how long will it be before they need even more money. OK many investors hold prepared to hold or invest more because of Stroll but if things don't start to turn fast then many will not wait and want Stroll out to save the company.

So do we think this will be the last time they issue more shares to raise money or will they come again and at what price?

What's going on here now, almost 3 times as many buys vs sells but th sp is going down. !!!!!

That's increased debt , up to £880mI
Increase in trade loan up another £50m.
Increase in shares on issue up another 20%.
But sales down , no profits, and what's the outlook.?
At this rate they will be going bust an 8th time soon.

Well we all know it was coming but not so soon, agreed I couldn't see any price but it won't be more than the last one of 40p will it.
So to get this away I would have thought somewhere around the 30p mark and a very large dilution for all shareholders. Sell now and then buy back after you know the total deal.

I think the whole city and shareholders know now that pfd's position has changed this week.
Sales continue to improve, pension sorted, debt reduced, and when all directors start buying shares with their own money knowing full well that a Hovis sale will almost certainly be down in a few months time the only way this sp is going is up.
It's been a long long wait but it might now be worth the wait.
