Do they know what they are doing, first they issue a downgrand for AA to 17p then they build / increase their holding. Do they have 2 sides to the business each not knowing what the other side is doing ? very strange.

After holding / being locked into these for about 8 years I can now say without dought that pfd are now in the best possible position they have been in for about 10 years.
They have growing sales, making profits, sorted thier pension problem and paying down debts, if anyone was interested in buying them out then now is the time, what great prospects they have and the only real question now is what are they worth? 80p -£1.00 a share and if they give out a very good rns in a few weeks then anything could happen.

UK supercar maker and Formula 1 team McLaren plans to cut more than a quarter of its workforce after the coronavirus crisis hit sales and advertising revenue.

The firm employs about 4,000 people, and of the 1,200 to be made redundant, the vast majority will be in the UK.

Formula 1 racing has been suspended, while orders for McLaren's supercars have fallen because of the pandemic.

McLaren said it had been "severely affected" by the crisis.

There are 618m shares on issue so another 5m shares will do nothing, they like many other companies do this each year and within a few days / weeks it's back to normal and on the way up . With luck !!!!!

Now with luck the seller has sold all they are going to sell the sp can start to move back up to 30p by next week.

Yes that's great news to be paying back / off £80m of debt some 2 years early and that will also save £millions in interest payments.
PFD must be generating plenty of cash and so we look forward to seeing higher profits in the next few weeks.

Considering just how many shares Parvus Asset Management have spld over the last 2-3 weeks AA has held up well and still above 20p so far.
Many thought this would crash with such a big seller getting out and thinking they knew a lot more than the rest of us, but alass all / most of those shares will have been bought by others and with luck now AA can start to move up again.
Who knows we could still get someone else making an offer within the next 6 months.

Has been talked about so many times and I believe it's only the people that don't fully understand it or some shorters that keep going on about AA going bust.

Equity swap, come on that's an old bit about equity swap and are you just trying that fear bit again. AA. have no need to do this as everything has been taken care of for another 3-5 years.

Plain and simple, All that's happened over the last few weeks is that 1 large holder has sold because it looked like they needed the money and another investor has taken over the shares.
Fear set in by posters not understanding the business or just trying to short and drop the sp, but in a reply from the company nothing was wrong and they new of nothing to see a drop in the sp. So following a good rns and confirmation that they are still making good profits and debt under control until 2022- 2025 with no one calling in any bonds we should now see that steady rise in sp.
Let's stop all this fear and have a little more faith and all should come good.

So that's a lot of stock sold over the last 2 weeks, so who is buying and you can be sure some is taking advantage of this low price. Maybe we will get a buyer holding up date soon.

Yes it's sad for all pi's when anyone sells 5% of their holdings but there will be someone out there buying that 5% and with luck could get a positive rns soon.

Yes so down to 19.92% , could that be then end of the down side as this is about the first time the sp has been up for what 3-4 days.

Why would they need any rights issue here, they have plenty of cash, making profits and are generating free cash from the business, no banks calling in any loans and debt taken care of for another 5 years.
