Well as from today vat is cut to 5% on all food in pubs, and they don't have to pass on the 15% savings if they want to put that against lost business in the last few months.
OK most will pass on some but if Mars passes on 5% and keeps 10% to off-set lost sales that could be a big boost to their turnover for the next 5-6 months and maybe push mars into more profits.

So on tdays move so far it looks like you have lost £1k, but it could be £2k+ tomorrow.
I think I made £50k on vog in my dream last night, but I guess it's all about perspective.

Actis is a british company that makes good profits from other things, so they have the money to pay their debts if they want to but decide not to for vog business, because they can get away with not doing so.
I think they believe vog will go bust and then get away with never paying, after all they haven't paid vog in full on time in the last 3 years or so. So why now.

Couldn't agree more, it's about time all these shorters were put down, far too much damage has been done to good well run ftse companies in the sake of driving down the sp to make a little money.

These were the 2020 Bonds that was taken care of untill 2022 but now yor worried about those,
you might as well worry about the 2025 bonds but I guess they will also be taken care of when it's time. It's summer and warm so Let concerntrate on all the positive points, it make you feel better.

Nothing is free in this world and most if not all will have to pay the money back, if you can get through this little problem on your own cash then why not do it, it will keep all the books in a better state and clear.

Well i wish it would get on a pop then but all the time we keep getting holders selling out (another one today) the sp will stay where it is if we are lucky.

Yes it's only a question of when this goes back up not if.
When you look at the sp over the last 6-9 months it's worth all of 75p- 85p if not a £1 when the divi comes back and it will. ITV is a long term great run company that will at some stage be bought out by someone bigger.

The big question is has the sp now turned and going back to 70p ish?

What do I know, I topped up with Mars 2-3 days ago now they have gone down and I bought ITV yesterday at 69p and that's not going anywhere yet when I thought it would go back up to 75p.

Yes it's about time it took off, a few weeks ago it went up to 28p-29p which I thought was the start of things but then went back down.
There should be no worries now about the bonds untill 2021- 2022 so I guess it's just the trading up-date that's needed and I think that's in Aug. So who knows maybe nows the time to top up again.

But this deal is not done yet and not completed until 1/3 rd qtr ie, July-Sept so I don't think they will get the money (£250m) until then so it cannot be already included in the sp. Or am I wrong ?

Could it be this that's holding the sp down until they have sorted it.
