Well thats a bit of a surprise and good news, I guess AA will not want to go down the route of an issue to raise money with all the costs to that before the 1Sept and any bids. So we should have no rush to sell. but I guess anyone of the interested parties could make a bid asap to cut out the other 2 .
The Beverly Hillbillies is an American sitcom television series broadcast on CBS from 1962 to 1971. The show had an ensemble cast featuring Buddy Ebsen, Irene Ryan, Donna Douglas, and Max Baer Jr. as the Clampetts,
Noone has said F1 is all doomed, I said just because you are in F1 doesn't mean it's all rosey and make profits. Even McClaren made a loss this year with many other teams losing money are being put up for sale like Williams. Just because you put AML name on the cars doeasn't mean you are going to make any money out of it. When you take into account all the millions needed to run/ fund the team you only get back good money when the team does well and there are no G/Tees.
I have been in these for more than 8 years and seen the highs and the lows with thousands being taken away, the company has said for years they were under valued but the city never believed then and it's only the last few weeks that something like true value is coming back. I am not being negative just realistic i think for now.
About time the sp started moving back up,is it just because the results are next week or is it because there could be some other good news coming and it's got out of the bag before hand.?
Goodness can there be any good news here, £680m put in by investors, huge losses and huge debts and getting worse. Everyone is looking positive at the F1 side thinking that will be the saver, but just look at all the other F1 teams and many / most are losing money there / being sold off because they cannot make money or going bust. If things turn round here it's going to be months away if every.
Is good but as expected and so I think most of the good news is already built into the sp. Now have to wait for the Hovis news to push the sp a bit higher.
So where did you get these numbers from, when some companies stop advertising others fill the gaps and do you think ITV will just have empty slots on tv ?. Just how much has the goverment already spent with ITV on advertising the covid 19 story, that olone could be £50m. Companies will need to advertise even more now to get things moving so we could be looking at an overall increase this year not a drop.
All this talk about loss of sweet / etc advertising. It would be good at some point just to find out how much money the government has spent on media / press / tv advertising the coronvius plan / action, I bet it's in the multy millions of pounds and ITV must have benefited from that income.Maybe the ITV results will tell us.
Why would they need any rights issue, if they did want one they would have done it well before the Carsberg deal. Can you imagine just how that would look to Carsberg. Marstons needing more money after doing a deal with them, doesn't show confidence does it. With this deal now being completed in Oct - Dec the last thing they will need is more uncertanty in the market. Foreget any issue.
Yes there are many things going on here and will have a benefit for the sp med / long term, the sp is down for now but will bounce back within weeks once covid gets sorted.
I wouldn't worry about junk food advertising before 9 pm, people will still stuff themselves with it regardless of advertising and any slots lost will be filled by other products anyway.
they are in the us so it maybe that someone else in the us has bought a nice little package of 5% if they aretrying to build a stake another 5% would be very handy. Let's hope we do see another buy rns next week to push the sp back up.
I don't think you understand how promotional offers work. PFD 's national accounts team would where possible /normally put together a promotion plan to each supermarket for the year to drive growth and profit. this could be agreed at the start of the year but left open to make adjustments if needed. The supplier would agree costs of promotion ends and some suggested voluem. I guess these plans would have been done well before covid 19 hit, but I guess they will both be working on these plans and making other suggestions if other suppliers pull out with their products which does also happen.I guess the factories will also have put on extra shifts and costs to cover this action/ promotion so no will want to pull out . Anyway it's good to see pfd products selling.
