Must admit this isn't the share it was and the compny is now in a different position than 2-3 years ago, but like others I bought in here in the low 40's after seeing what's coming up. Yes we will all get a better view of where they are and where they are going in the next trading up-date which was going to be in Nov but I guess that will now come out when we also get Direct energy confirmation in the next few weeks. Regardless of how bad many think this is I don't think there is much down side here but much up-side if the debt is paid down. So I still see 60p-+ no trouble in the short / medium term and worth staying for.

Looking at all the RNS's Completion of the transaction is expected to occur later in the fourth quarter of 2020 was i9n Oct / Nov and since then it's been approved in the US . but cannot see another date.
I haven't seen anything else, although some have said first week in Jan but I seem to have missed that.
Can anyone else confirm that date.?

Hi there Boo, We have all done it and been down many thousands of pounds in a number of stocks and am still down in some, but with cna if you are already down is it the best time to sell at this low sp.
All things taken into consideration with consentration back to home customers and sale of assets to pay down debt this does look like we could be on the turn up. I know I have done the same thing at times and sold stock when I have thought that's it I have had enough and sold just to find the next few days sod's law kicked in and the sp went up lots to my loss. We all decide but maybe another few weeks might just play into your court and push up your money.

Just goes to show we must be making many more products here in the UK and exporting them, we have just seen how France can act and will act if they don't get their own way in years to come.Let's also open up more ports and bridges to northern France / Belgium.

So what happened there yesterday with the big buy / buysof £8m at 34p?
Is that 1 or 2 big buys at 34p and who would be buying now at this price, does someone have inside info on a higher bid of 40p?
Would / could it be ABC building their stake even more. or was that just a mistake.?

I know that would happen it's down to 103 again, should have sold at 106 today. sod's law again.

Come on sp it's about time we hit £1.15, we all know that pfd goes up on day and down again the next so will a number of investors sell at £1.06 and try to buy back in at 98p. but then again sod's law says it will not now fall to 98p buy carry on to £1.15-£1.20.Who knows what to do?

Why would cna buy anything, they have spent years building up assets and debt so now is the time to sell /wind down assets and debt and boost sp. £1 should be on the cards in the next 6 months when debt has been almost taken out.
But maybe cna have plans to invest / buy into nuke power plants.

The offer now is 35p and at any time these big shareholders can do a deal and sell their shares for that money, it happens all the time in business behind closed doors well this can happen now with open doors. They don't have to wait until the vote to sell that's just a agree a full takeover by all shareholders, but most / many will not even bother to vote.

Come on you must be on 8 hrs a day 40 hrs a week contract standard rates about £15 an hr min plus over time rates for anything up to 11pm if you want to.plus pension ,plus 5 weeks holiday, plus bank holidays, plus , plus, plus, . you have had all the big benefits for years compared to other workers and now it's just being brought into line with others you complain.
We are not the third world making you work for £1.50 an hr.stop trying to pull the wool over us .
Come on give us the truth and then maybe we will understand.

Will in many eyes be a much better year than 2020. They have said they are going to concerntrate on the home market and it's customers, they are selling off some assets to bring down debt and reduce interest payments which will increase profits and bring back divi's.
OK in the past anyone that has bought owned cna for years will lose out at the moment but just look at all the companies that are raising more money and cutting divi's, as it happens cna has lots of assets they can sell and other companies do not otherwise they would be doing the same.
Many companies will be looking at cna and saying If only they just could sell assets and almost wipe out all their debts like cna. I know thetre are lots of negative posts on here but come on guys we all know many are from cna workers and have a grudge to post.

Yes I understand all that, but the 35p offer is on the table now for all the institutions and large shareholders who want to sell so why haven't they sold already / now at 35p . Why are they holding out.
If it gets to the vote date and the offer has already been taken up by say 60% then it would be a sure thing. So why are they NOT selling now?

What are we now about 3 weeks of the offer and every day we keep getting all these company / institution holdings breakdowns, and in all honesty none seem to be selling out for 35p. surely they can sell now and take the offer if they want for 35p can't they or Is that because they have to hold until the vote or are they holding because they think the offer might go up ?

Yes we need to grow by buying more good products but we need products to fill the summer months that's where we are falling short, and I guess the bod's must know that.

Just because they have voted for a strike it doesn't mean many will come out and cna must know this by the number of people that have already agreed to the new terms.
It looks like it's the new terms or no job and no terms,as there are many engineers out there that would just love to work for british gas and the very good terms compared to other companies. Are you telling me that many engineers would give up good stable jobs to go self employed with NO furlough and NO pension etc at this time of trouble. British gas are playing this correct in my view, but I do not work for british gas so I would say that wouldn't I.

Well if the general view is this will go through at 35p I might as well wait another 2 weeks and get my 35p then, am not selling at 33p.

Will normally come out in second week of Jan to cover the last qtr, so not long to wait now and should be great.
