Look things and times move on, many years ago I used to get a company car with NO limit free private miles, free fuel card , no car tax free car parking card, etc etc saving me thousands of pounds a year .
Things and times have moved on and so must cna engineers suck it up.

I think london is expecting wall st to fall big time and bring down the ftse more so RR. will/ could fall to £1.only my view.

That many strikers don't care about some shareholders losing many thousands of pounds from cna share values, infact much more than some strikers could be losing from their contracts but still want our support for a strike.

So it now looks like they have approx 30% in favour and I guess they will also get another 20% from Kemp making about 50% with only a few days to go.
This is going to be very close and they may not get the 75% needed, so game on !!!!

I understand the feelings here but at the end of the day centrica is too big to be controled by the unions and staff and if centrica is to stay in business they need to cut some overheds and benefits just like BA did a little while ago.I t does unfortunately look like work for slightly less money and some benefits or no work at all.
So I wonder just how many strikes it will take before someone gives in, in the meantime the sp could be back to 25p but I guess many / most workers don't give a fig about the sp and their job comes first.

That couldn't be futher from the truth, just because they don't get 75% means they will have to raise more money and possibly more shares with consolidation that's all.
AA. do not need the cash right now but over the next 1-2 years and once that has been taken care of they have a good chance of moving back up to 60p+ it will just take a little longer.OK if they don't get the 75% this week then the sp will fall again but that would be a great time to buy in as well. Life is a gamble.

RF68, Thanks for that info, So if I send an email to the bod's they should confirm everything you say as this must be free info for all the shareholders and they should be happy for me to put it out on the board.

Anyway I think you should call a full blown strike for a month and then the sp will crash to 25p and I can buy more.

So is it just the engineers that are striking because these new contracts affect the engineers more and are the office workers also striking to support the engineers. because it just looks like the engineers are striking because they are being hit the hardest about their money and not about terms.

We keep hearing about how bad the engineers are being treated and some say they are asked to work about 17 hrs day etc, but when we ask for some truth and what are the changes so we can more understand what's going on no one wants to give the real reasons and facts.
So come on you strikers we want to understand, Just how are your terms changing, and give us the facts about salary against other companies.!!!!!!

Yes it might be but if you cannot go anywhere it doesn't matter about demand. Just look now at having to get a negative test for going anywhere then coming back. With many tests costing £100 + ish each and for a party of say 2-4 each way after 2 weeks the cost mounts very fast.

So are we going to see many run for cover now, could be a very big drop again.

Simple because the market see more growth / profit in IAG than RR.
Many on here keep saying they are long term and yes it could go down in the short term but long term it will be fine, and I agree to a point but why buy now when many think this is going lower first.
On a positive note some director buys on a monthly basis but why are they not buying large amounts.

I'm out, was getting to close to call so sold yesterday 34.4, would have liked more profit but that's life and I guess this could still go south.

I think there is still too much uncertainty about RR, many still think they will need more money and more shares issued to get through the next 12 months, that could then mean consoildation and until the bod's come clean who knows where this goes.
We all know this have had a good run up to what about £1.30 but this could be down to 80p ish very soon without more info.
