Has anyone ever managed to have a conversation or sensible communication with Joe or a member of the board? Just curious to see how they view investor dialogue or not as the case maybe.

Gordon....that was my point that Conger has just made, they are not likely to sell them all on straight away, it would drive the price down. So what would be the point. We are in effect at the capital rise price now. The large investors are now going to want to see a much increased valuation for any return on their investment.

They will undoubtedly be issued but why would they hit the market? If they have gone to institutional investors, let's say 'sticky hands' they surely are not going to be placed in open market and sell straight away? Makes no sense. I am aware that these investors have 'been taken inside' and will know more than the average PI. They'll all have their own ROI strategy and risk v reward but selling straight away for what, perhaps a % here or there. No I don't buy that, hold for 12 months or so and potentially return 3/4x original investment, makes more sense to me.

I think we will get a natural increase in price over the coming weeks, based upon the market being told that news is due on the completion of the deal. We might venture into the low 0.0030's. We could then get the sell on news scenario. Based upon accounting principals, the value of the Cambay asset should change when we gain 100% ownership, however I am not sure how this will reflect in the SP until we know the details of the JV partner, funding and drilling programme. The deal at $2.2m with the GSPC has been done probably taking into account past factors/costs and there could have been some trade off. On this basis its difficult to place an accurate value on the asset until we know more.

Gordon....I agree I am willing to invest and have done further based upon it already having been ratified with the GOI, on the basis that it is an asset of such significant interest to the country. Rubber stamp obviously required. I do wonder whether there have been certain conditions made within the sale and purchase agreement around future development and funding of the field. It could therefore mean that three way conversations are being had with a potential JV partner to satisfy any of these conditions.

I think there will be buyers (mainly PI's) taking positions knowing that we are half way through quarter 2 and that has been the time line suggested for finalisation of the deal. News within next 6 weeks say. If they communicate to institutional investors (taken inside) with positive and imminent news about the deal, we may see much more aggressive buying, if they think its worth increasing their current significant holdings. Having been investing in AIM shares for the past 15 years, you get to know and understand all the shenanigans that go on. Nothing certainly gets played with a straight bat.

Now this report, from what I can see, as never been RNS'd by the company. It has some very detailed plans on field development, plus project costs.

I would suggest reading and it maybe more apparent the size of the prize Oilex are focussed on. Joe has mentioned 'game changing' for the company. This report underpins that.

Gordon...from what I have gleaned the GOI have been kept abreast of the matters relating to the sale, and may have made some stipulations with regard to the future development of the field (investment & time). I would strongly suggest this has been communicated to any potential JV partner which in turn will form the foundations around the discussion of not only 'buy in' price but also future well costs and development to make the gas recoverable commercial.

In recent correspondence I have received from Oilex, they have confirmed they are working to maintain the schedule as per previous announcements. This tells me that there will no doubt be a lot going on behind the scenes to conclude the transaction. Having been involved in many acquisitions myself this process tends to be driven and dictated by the legal process. Lawyers love a good negotiated sales and purchase agreement with all the relevant warranties and provisions.

He's Non-Exec and not in control of the day to day reigns. Joe and Mark are the key Execs and based upon Joe's last interview I'll take the company's strategy and operational updates from him. We are making good progress and it's time to be patient now to let the next steps unfold.

Gordon ...I did think that too. When you log into the portal as a guest it doesn't allow any further details of the tender to be surfaced, so can't join the dots. The tender end date is 24th May, so only 10 days away. I have long thought that ONGC could be a potential JV partner, and if a deal has been included subject to legals and GOI approval, are they just getting their 'ducks in a row' so they can hit the ground fast?

If this is anything to do with our acreage in Cambay this could suggest ONGC are the new JV partner? Going out to tender for the provision of rig services etc. Or am I missing something?

Ollie..why would you think the institutional investors who participated in the funding be dumping shares so soon after they have been issued. On your numbers assuming that they were a sell at 0.00274 they would have made 13% return. I suspect on the basis they've been taken 'inside' they'll know more than the average PI and will have been given details of the next chain of events. Personally I would have thought they will have been in it for a much bigger return than 13%.

I emailed the company a few days ago, just had a few questions. As yet no reply, when normally they respond fairly timely. Wonder if the radio silence is down to matters nearing completion.

You are right Conger. Fishing for those stop losses. They know news is due and will want to have plenty of shares available. Just time to sit tight if you are an investor in the stock, and buy those dips if you have done your research and are confident of Oilex delivering. I've been adding the past few weeks.

Are you suggesting Joe and Mark would exit on a JV deal? I don't feel that would be the case.
