Icecool did make it clear that he wanted JO Monday night so he could gloat with a 'no' vote. JO promised to be hear, but Icecool is slent for once. After the stoushes between Icecool and JO - forgive me if I invited Icey under this heading for one more stoush...for old times' sake. JO thinks Icey is feeeling down in the dumps...fair enough.

Given Sidara has bought Wood for 30p per share and $450 million, it means Wood can go it alone under the Sidara umbrella. Without Sidara, Wood investors would have been wiped out under a capitail raise with institutional investors or under a debt for equity swap with lenders.

JO had hoped for a second bidder, but after Wood's audited accounts were known, there was zero to 5% chance.

For JO, it means its time to call 'time' on this Wood chat room.

It's been fun over the last several months. I only have time to chat on one-two discussion boards, so I picked this Wood char room as a favourite.

As for a new bidder...there is no second bidder! Even if there is a seocnd bidder (1% chance of that) JO will wait until the payout of 30p, so will benefit from that.

The vote will of course be a 'Yes' for obvious reasons. As we all know, Wood has run a negative cash flow position for 9 long years and Wood is simply unsustainable without a huge injection of hard cash.

Wood's audited accounts are so bad as to not attract any interest from Wood's institutional investors (capital raise), or Wood's lenders (debt for equity swap) or for any rival bidders to buy Wood (far too much risk).

Therein enters Sidara - Wood's white knight - to save the day. Once the vote is 'Yes', Wood recieves: An immediate debt extention to October 2028 and 'New Money' facilities of $200 million from Wood's lenders, and $250 million courtesy of Sidara...followed by another $200 million upon completion i.e. within the first 6 months of 2026.

Under Sidara, Wood - under Iain Torrens as new CEO - will start a new chapter of stability and then future growth.

As for Wood's investors, we will all recieve 30p per share, which is an improvement on 18p prior to suspension, and 22p after suspension sometime in the first half of 2026.

So this will all soon come to an end for one and all. No more will we hear from Icecool and hos fantasy turn-arounds based on his 'fundamentals'...er, that didn't age very well...then 'transparency'...er be careful what you wish for...and finally the audited accounts...which were rubbish...hence, Icey refused to aknowledge how bad the accounts were (head buried in sand) and instead did an immediate about-face and focused instead on a couple of RNS' disposals...which we knew about anyway...and the fact that Kenny-boy jumped ship...which was always going to happen...and then focus on how Iain Torrens would steer the Wood ship to calmer waters....er, actually Iain is there to manage the transition to Sidara!

Based on all those 'fundamentals', Icey is/was 100% sure that the vote would be 'No'! And would wait - presumably for as many years as it takes (how long is a piece of string...!?) - for Wood to recover back to the glory days of...well, 60p will do in order for Icey to break-even! Come to think of it, none - not one - of Icey's crystal-ball predictions have aged well!

The RNS will be announced tomorrow, and we can all look forward to a grovelling apology from Icecool - who is under water here to the tune of circa 60p (hence Icey's super-ramping under any virtually any scenario). So we can all sit back and wait for the humble apology from Icey for trying to hoodwink all and sundry on this Wood discussion board to his fantastical way of thinking....for a while there quite a number of folk here gave Icey the thumbs up, even for some of his most silly dreamed-up posts.

In summary, Wood, will produce its RNS on Monday to show that the vote is 'Yes' and it is game, set, match Sidara.

After that the court rubber-stamps Sidara's offer within the first 6 months of 2026 and Wood shatre holder will be paid 30p.

On Monday, you will see that your prediction (you stated you are 100% sure) that the 'No' vote will come to pass will be crushed. At that point, you will no doubt shrug your shoulders (with an emoj of course) and say 'Gee wizz, oh well, so what...everyone else is still wrong and Icecool is right'. But that will not be enough Icecool...you will have to apologise to everyone on this board, and before you leave, you will have to add an emoj that shows you putting your head between your butt and kissing your own butt! Given Wood has said the 'current capital structure of Wood is unsustainable' and 'Wood’s gross indebtedness is approximately $1.6 billion': Like it or not, in the clear and unequivocal abscence of any rival bidder/s, Sidara's offer looks more like a cash bailout for Wood and Wood's lenders. The reality is that 30p per share for Wood's shareholders is far better than Wood's alternative option of significant asset disposal and/or raising cash and in the process seriously diluting current shareholders to 'materially less' or 'zero value'.

Unfortunately, all other would-be 'bidder/s' have taken a look at Wood's audited accounts and commentary, not engaged with Wood directors, and decided to keep their higher offer of 35-40p per share and $450 million cash injection firmly in their pockets.

It is for these reasons (and several dozen more) that I look forward to Monday and the assurity of 30p per share in the bank before HY2026, rather than the alternative whereby Wood needs to raise cash and quickly...and the consequences such actions bring for shareholders.

That said, no matter which way the vote goes, and no matter which side of the fence you are on...we are all Wood shareholders, and JO wishes everyone here - friend and foe alike - the very best of luck on Monday and beyond.

I think Icecool is trapped with Wood at a 60p average, which is why he has been super-ramping Wood under his 'dreamy' narratives and is calling for an offer of 60-80p minimum. Interestingly, Icecool has also been super-ramping TRX at 29p and is still super-ramping even now that TRX suspended at a mere 7p...there is a theme here! BTW TRX is out of cash and on its knees with its begging bowl out trying to win over large investors under a converstion loan note, which means material (1-3p per share) or total wipeout for TRX investors in the very near future.

As we head towards Christmas, it is prudent that CH provides an update...any business update on Zephyr. CH's promise of 'lots of good news flow' has not materialised in any way, shape or form. Questions ought to be asked. Zephyr is starting to look like s dead end in terms of an investment. I will hold until the end of November - if no meaningful news/updates is announced by Zephyr by Friday 28 November I will sell all my stock in Zephyr in a serious of tranches. There is simply too much opportunity elsewhere to be stuck with a limp investment due to 'promises of good times in the future'.

Anyway - it's been 'fun' JO and co are off to the theatre for drinks and a show. Farewell for now...Lol
