If you ask Graff (aka Gruffalo) he will say do not sell. Gruffalo would say he knows of several rival bidders who are 99.9% sure they want to buy Wood and will snap those shares out of your hands for a mere 60p to 99p minimum ASAP! After all...who would doubt a Gruffalo you know?!

@papaduke Certainly actions/activities with Zephyr appear to have been 'paused', however, we do know that work is underway with connections paperwork etc. It would be better if CH simply provides estimated time-lines. That in itself helps set investor expectations. If for example, CH said connections, paperwork etc ought to be completed within the first 6 months of 2026 with operations (revenues expected) by Q3 2026...that would set the bar and provide plenty of wiggle-room for additional updates. It's the lack of 'time stamps' that is the frustration. It's kind of like you Papa saying to your better half "Yes I'll wash the car later." Later for you means next week sometime if the weather allows, whereas later for your better half means later this afternoon! Of course "Yes I'll wash the car" means...well, not a lot at all. With fixed timelines comes accountability...I cannot help but think that is a factor here. BTW Any news on interested parties who were diving into the information helpd at the Zephyr 'Data Centre'? Nope. More silence. No news, is no news.

To put you out of your misery, I did leave for about 30 minutes, then I took one last quick look, and saw that Guffalo was spouting crap about rivals bidders for 60-90p. So JO called Gruffy out on it...I spoke out for 'Truth, Justice and the Amer...JO way!' Look, up in the sky, faster than a speeding bullet, more powerful than a locamotive, it's a bird, it's a plane, it's JO!' Lol

I have thought about investing in Mobico for the possible turn-around, but the update left quite a bit to be desired. For me the risk-reward ration is still 50-50, so not reason enough to buy in as yet. Combined with Fitch downgrade (link to article below), I'll keep Mobico on my 'Watch' list for now and wait for the next RNS of note.

@Scout63 No need to apologise to those who pointed your incorrect statements out re the votes. Personally, when I read your interpretation on how the votes would work, I found it funny. Don't worry, the votes have been cast, locked in and approved. ALl Wood investors will receive 30p per share within the first 6 months of 2026. The good news is that while the wider sharemarket collapses under the Reeves budget and the slow economic decline of the UK under Labour, Wood investors who bought in at 18-24p or averaged down to under 30p will enjoy a nice little earner that is 99.9% assured of coming to fruition.

My overarching concern with CH and Zephyr is that we seem to be seeing a long line of 'gimmick' statements, which can gain attention...but it is questionable whether or not the same can be said with regards to building confidence by Zephyr's more experienced investors i.e. those who have invested in plenty of companies from start-ups to multi-national companies. For example, why mention the 'Data Centre' with several interested parties...then after some time - time enought to ascertain any interest - choose to provide zero update on interest or lack of interest? Although CH has more or less followed one RNS with the next, there are clear gaps with no explainations around progress on certain events (EG 'Data Centre'), and in many/most/all cases around plans/objectives the time-lines/dead-lines are missing, which in my view ensures CH avoids futher/future scrutiny and/or accountability. Anyway, these are my observations, and I believe these concerns are valid. Like most investors, I will await the next RNS from CH on the business.

Agreed Hydras. Also, how hard would it be to provide a time-frame for the completion of such works. Surely CH has not employeed contractors on a builders 'day rate'...with smoking breaks and tow hour lunch breaks? Surely CH has a fixed price for the works with a start date and predicted finish date? Where is the details...they always seem to be lacking in basic details. Just more or less empty words...without the details behind them in order to be accountable. BTW Still no words on the inersted investors/partners in the 'Data Centre' either. Time to pause for thought on this investment IMO.

If you are comparing Wood with Worley, the you are comparing apples and oranges. To start with Worley debt is circa AUD$1.23 billion, not £1.23 billion as you have stated. Given the exchange rate GBP vs AUD is currently GBP£1 to AUD$2.03 this is significant. Besides that, you need to take a look at a few basic numbers for Worley as at 30 June 2025 for example: Cashflow +$665 million (been in positive cashflow for years), Net Profit After Tax $475 million (up 29% on previous year)...then take a look at Wood's equivilent position and you do the sums.

Worley is a well managed and growing business.

Wood has been mismanaged for years, evidenced by the fact (to start with) its cashflow has been negative for the last 9 years...
