The parties needed for the hazop will all be present when the ship makes dry dock, don’t see it as a big deal, what is needed is fuel supply announcement which would hopefully coincide with dry docking
Thanks for sharing gribbler
No release on Twitter or LinkedIn as yet, I would expect a proactive interview from Jason after this supposed milestone completion
That has to be the million dollar question HF. Leandra sat at Durban, should have sailed by now
Hazard identification is simply risk assessment, not really any need to disclose this as it’s mandatory for any task let alone a new trial. Operability studies will be copy and paste of the Msar studies of 2017
she is scheduled by MSC to be in Coega on the 4th, yet she is not on the itinerary for that port
https://www.vesselfinder.com/ports/ZAZBA001
so she should head straight east
She will leave Durban tomorrow, it will be interesting to see if she heads west to Coega as planned or straight east to Port Louis and onto China
Nothings changed HF. Still looking bleak. She’s out of ticket on the 21st of March. It’s very unlikely that she will get an extension as the maximum time between out of water surveys has lapsed. She’s over 15 years old so in water surveys cannot be carried out. She will be in a Chinese dry dock before the ticket runs out.

4 weeks from Monday we should see the interim results. Leandra should be in dock by that time unless another extension is granted for her inspection. Also with the changes in regulations, she will need that scrubber fitted to continue operating on current available fuels.
As you say there is so much in the pipeline that needs announcing, we should be seeing an update weekly.
Leandra currently sitting outside Durban, the berth was clearly not ready for her slot yesterday
The same guy will almost certainly ensure a smooth and successful trial which leads to a contract for future fuel supply
Currently approaching Durban, she leaves on the 28th Feb. bound for china, she has been granted an extension to her SOLAS mandatory dry docking period which runs out mid March, mid March puts her ever closer to those major dry docks in China. With the ever pending dry docking comes the fuel supply announcement.
The Morocco client will need fuel as will MSC, the two may well be aligned.
Dont know if this is significant but she visits and loads at Durban, Coega and Port Louis with Singapore being the only port of discharge.
Port Of Discharge SINGAPORE PASIR PANJANG TERMINAL 2 (MPAT)
Estimated Time of Arrival Fri 17th Mar 2023 12:00

Hi Vince, the numbers mentioned for Morocco were in the region pf 1-2 MMUs, 350-450.000 tonnes of Msar per year, I think were milleniums away from any real movement away from fossil fuel, more so now with the Russian issues.
Hoping for some progress in one area or another soon.
Lizzouli of Redliner talking to Kemi Badenoch, Secretary of State for Business and Trade of the British Government visited Mexico City this week, with the aim of strengthening trade ties between our countries.
Grateful for the opportunity to talk about MSAR technology and its potential in Mexico. I wish you success in your visit, that the relationship between countries only grows. Welcome Kemi.
Bio Msar immediate and tangible solution:- (Taking place or accomplished without delay an immediate reaction)
Allot of testing of fuel with 10% water has taken place already including the tests currently being done that Vince brought to our attention, would be good if the Wartsilla testing has allowed a bypass of LONO for Bio Msar,
