Gribbler
From the final results 2022.
Proof-of-concept ("POC") tests aboard the Leandra are planned for Q1 2023, after the vessel returns from drydock for its scheduled maintenance and regulatory class inspection. Confirmation of the vessel route and the MSAR® / bioMSAR™ bunker supply point and partner will be made in Q4 2022, with discussions underway with potential fuel supply partners.
Quite a few of the bottle necks have been removed, fuel at site in Morocco, Bio Msar and Msar have been proof tested to oblivion and back, The trial vessel is about to get its scrubber fitted, surely they can't f--k this up now, fuel supply being the only hurdle to get across for both Morocco and MSC, we've been told refiners are waiting in the wings for Leandra's route to be determined.
Find out one way or another on Monday
No reply HF. Should get something out of them at the Q & A session if nothing in the results Monday.
Been very quiet all around, can only hope that they have been pi55ing out straight
Currently ahead of schedule, sailing through the Straight of Mallaca, due in Singapore on Saturday, should be at dry dock location the weekend after.
Check the MSC Schedules, she enters Dalian and doesn't leave, she can't leave as she is out of class certification on the date she enters Dalian, there will be no other mandatory class requirement for her to be in drydock again this year.
The fuel trial cannot commence until she is equipped with a scrubber to enable the consumption of residual fuel of greater than 0.5% sulphur, both BioMsar and Msar fall into plus 0.5% sulphur
2 weeks should see Leandra on the chocks at Dalian dry dock, China, this should be the precursor to the fuel supply contract and the commencement of the POC trials leading to LONO trials, we get the half yearly report this coming Monday. Be nice to see some significant progress on Morocco and MSC.
The schedule is already in the public domain, look it up.
The journey for Leandra from Singapore to Dalian and the supposed drydock is 3200 Nm, she will be unladen for the journey and would need to travel at around 25 Knots to get to Dalian in the proposed 6 days.
I've E-mailed IR to see if they will confirm this schedule as the dry docking, will post if I get a reply.
Look under vessel
PORT LOUIS MUPLU ZF307R TUE 14TH MAR 2023 18:00 THU 16TH MAR 2023 04:00 INGWE SERVICE

DALIAN CNDLC ZF307R FRI 31ST MAR 2023 22:22 FRI 31ST MAR 2023 22:22 INGWE SERVICE
The telling part will be her AIS destination when she leaves Port Louis where she has just berthed, looks like a 48 hour turnaround.
Looks like drydocking about to happen then HF, Dalian does fit scrubbers and is way off being part of the current INGWE service that Leandra is currently on, Quindao is the last call for this service with Dalian some 330 Nm further North, this fits well with her current Hull inspection due on the 21st of this month.
Just come across this, probably been up before but some time ago, interesting for newbies

From the conference Vince, sounds like they've cracked it
Shipowners and operators at the forefront of alternative fuelling were keen to make the investments necessary to help fuel providers make their next moves.
With many future fueling options — and their associated pros and cons — panellists at TradeWinds' Green Seas Fuel Forum in New York on Thursday said they wanted to put the “chicken and egg” problem to rest.

Could be due a tick up in sp as she heads towards China.
From that semaphore. Morocco are between 1-2 MMUs equating to roughly 1500 tonnes of msar per day. If Quadrise are getting $50 per tonne Morocco will get at least the same. So the saving to Morocco is in the region of $75,000. Per day set aside the environmental benefits.
be nice to pull this off aswell as MSC

MSAR®? will always make sense for PEMEX. It's a cheaper, cleaner and smarter way to create value from the bottom of the barrel of crude oil.
- In a single refinery switching to MSAR could save 30,000 BPD of diesel
- $200 million in savings
- 35% reduction in COPE production
- NOX reduction, 0 soot
Nice to see $50 per tonne revenue to Quadrise, not seen any revenues mentioned for some time, given MSC use 10 million tonnes per annum, back of a *** packet quick calculation is a savage amount to us, certainly more than proactive is giving us credit for.
