Hi Vince, this from IR,
The HAZOP is independent of the dry dock activities and is a detailed risk assessment that’s carried out by the Class Society and involving MSC, Quadrise and Wartsila to ensure all aspects of the safety and operability of the main engine and vessel/crew are reviewed and any potential risks mitigated.
This is a normal step to be carried out prior to testing a new fuel on a commercial vessel, we completed similar exercises for MSAR prior to the Maersk trials.
The vessel will be ready to receive the fuel once dry-dock activities and the HAZOP are completed. Fuel supply is a parallel activity, and we need to finalise agreements with a third party and MSC to supply the trial volumes. Shareholders will be notified accordingly in due course.
My understanding has been that the parties will carry out the Haz/Op on the ship, what you say is plausible but if it was the case I would have thought it would have been done by now, they have the template from the Maersk trial to make it more straightforward, either way lets hope its announced completed soon, Monday is good for me.
Leandra is about to go alongside at Antwerp in the next hour, her first visit to European soil since being taken on by MSC, NW Europe being the preferred location for bunker supply. Haz/op Imminent, surely while at a European port, Tripartite agreement once Haz/op has taken place, next RNS unless something from Panama.
So if Steve Byle can pull this Utah deal off it will extend the cash runway and with the other anticipated news from many sectors any fundraise should be at a much higher share price, if Steve Byle can get more SLA's from other oilers in Utah that already extract oil then hopefully it will wipe out the need for a fundraise altogether.
onward and upward
Sounds encouraging, more from Cepsa's perspective

Leandra is anchored off Singapore after a short stint alongside at Tanjung Pelepas, Singapore being a hub for all the relative parties for the Haz/Op, just need Jason to turn up. Quite unusual for the ship to go to anchor after the port visit so hopefully its for that reason, could be anything though.
She's due at Suez on the 12th and Antwerp on the 23rd, then on to Gdansk which will take her passed Denmark where the Morocco fuel was manufactured.
From IR end of March

It does look as though she is going into dry dock, Dalian is the only port on her schedule and she is also designated as an extra vessel. With scrubber fitted she could take the Blend on Board system. Big maybe.
As for Leandra, she must be picking up empties, as you say not very laden. Antwerp is an easy location for all parties involved in the HazOp to get together, has to be the last part of the prolonged puzzle to get the refiner on board.
Fingers crossed
The fuel supply should be done and dusted by now, the terminal supply which is probably most likely for the PoC should be able to modify an existing bitumen plant for the small amounts required .
Possible news on the 26th with Valkor, Morocco oasis well overdue, fuel supply massively overdue.
Something gotta give
Ocp had several scrubbers fitted just a short time ago, I did post a news item when it was relevant, allot of expense if their use is just short term.
Anyway, the team need to pull their f. Cking fingers out and get something over the line.
