I got this reply from Deltic today
Thank you very much for your email during the offer period.
We are always open to suggestions and welcome dialogue with our shareholders, but obviously can't comment in detail about certain elements of the business that are not in the public domain. However you can be assured that we actively and regularly engage with our peer group of companies, including Sterling Energy, at various formal and informal events throughout the year and feel we have a clear understanding of their portfolio and strategic focus, which appears to be quite different to that of Deltic.
Regards,
Andrew.

Perhaps we the shareholders could nudge things along.
Maybe email Deltic and tell them how you feel.
I have shares in another oil company and will email them about Deltic. Others could do the same.
Go on oil company bb's and put out the word about what a good buy Deltic is.
All shareholders could do something.
The other option is do nothing and continue to grumble every day.
This could be a grumpy old men website.
The choice is ours.

Exactly
High enough profile.
We who own shares in this company are gamblers, whether we like to admit it or not.
Other people out there who like to gamble on shares need to know about this company.
Being such a small company it is probably below the radar of large institutions.
How do you raise it's profile?
Suggestions.
I've been in this one for maybe 15 years.
In all that time they have done nothing but promise.
It would have to go to £2.50 for me to break even.
Rubbish company
Also the market capitalisation is in £
rifteastafrica
Have you had shares in this company for long??
What exactly do the BOD of this company do?
Dec 2015 cash £98million
Dec 2019 cash £44million

Yes I emailed them last week with my thoughts and suggestions and got this reply
"Thank you for your suggestion.
We are currently in an offer period and until that period ends, under the Takeover Code, we are unfortunately prevented from any discussion with shareholders.
However, we will respond when that restriction is lifted."
Kind regards,

If you hold a significant number of shares and by this I don't mean a few hundred thousand, I think you are well within your right to phone them and express your concerns.
This is not a major company. I don't know how many employees they have, but you should be able to talk to someone high up without to much problem.
You do seem very troubled by the way the company is run and I suspect you have a large investment here.
For your own peace of mind give it a go.
I emailed Deltic a couple of days ago and got a reply today.
This is what they said.
