They don't want to loose money so you can read all sorts into that.!

The UK is to hand over £98m to India despite the country - which has spent almost the same on a lunar probe - now giving out more foreign aid than it receives.
As part of the UK's aid budget, the Department for International Development (DfID) will give £52m this year and a further £46m in 2019/20.
It comes despite India spending £95.4m on the lunar probe, Chandrayaan-2, which is set to launch in January.
Meanwhile, India gives away more in foreign aid than it receives - in 2015/16 it took in £254m but gave away £912m.
Tory MP David Davies said India did not "want or need" UK aid and that "in effect we are sponsoring an Indian moon launch".

Sterling Energy is a British company that has been wasting it's time for years looking for oil in Africa. I have had shares in this company for years and emailed them about CLNR. Probably wasting my time as well here, but surly UK companies can work together rather than waiting for foreign companies to step in bail them out. BACK BRITAIN. BACK BRITISH JOBS.

Perhaps this company should team up with Cluff Natural Resources CLNR . Stop wasting your time in foreign parts there is oil in the North sea. Shell knows this and has joined forces, it's time SEY did the same.

Personally I cannot see any future government backing this project. They should, but it seems easier for them to just let market forces take over.

Having done some work for a large aggregates company in North Yorkshire I would imagine the company removing the soil is the beneficiary

This would have already been taken into account.
