During a takeover period can the BOD still carry on as normal. Can they for instance still discuss farm ins with potential partners or is everything put on hold?
This may have already been mentioned today but with 450+ chats so far today I don't have time to read them all. With no staff wages to pay, how long can cine survive?
If you bought into DELT before the Reabold bid, I cannot understand why people are jumpy and edgy now. If you bought in then, without the recent interest, nothing has changed for the worst.
This DELT/IOG takeover thing is fast becoming one of the most boring things of 2020 apart from the governments handling of covid 19. ( lets not go there )
oil "There is no reason to pay 2.5 / 3p. Pretty sure Iog could buy 30% on the open market and we would still be under 3p." And what if the other 70% of shareholders said "no not selling" They would be stuffed. Apart from that it is an all share offer.
Thanks Major Should have looked that up myself. Just being lazy. •When a person or group acquires interests in shares carrying 30% or more of the voting rights of a company, they must make a cash offer to all other shareholders at the highest price paid in the 12 months before the offer was announced (30% of the voting rights of a company is treated by the Code as the level at which effective control is obtained).
