Thanks for posting 2nd generation Vax stuff and have a bit of interest in MRK as still have a few shares as legacy of when I worked there.
Agree there will be a lot of interest in 2nd generation but that term will likely apply to any more general new approach as opposed to the “ modified” SARS/MERS efforts.
So for instance I think the Imperial one may be classed as 2nd generation therefore there is still pressure on SCLP to get into the clinic.

Although out of Amyt now interesting to see they have gone for US listing.
Can be a double edged sword as yes is defo the place to be to attract lots of finance and to raise the profile however it is expensive though valuable to maintain.
However as Brownsville says underwriter can make a difference.
Another AIM share that had US listing had HC Wainwright as underwriter and I remember the CEO describing them as a cornerstone investor but they ended up selling and had warrant hedges so does droned in the arrangement.Also can open up lots of gameplay over SP.
Think CF has great contact with big pharma so need to raise noise level.
I would prefer a sale but see what happens.

Yes good post.
Would say the changes in the last few years in pharma have to an extent streamlined this type of decision making.
The way it tends to work is a Company's has a strategic plan with a number of areas assigned a particular priority and often there decision to partner with someone tends to be made as much by strategic fit however good the science.
That is why the improved sentiment re cancer Vax really plays in SCLP favour and of course the Avidmab deals are so good potential

If anyone wants to let Roche know about partnering with SCLP just submit your response.
