Think we just need any one bit of positive news and we will break free of current trading range.
There has been mention of specific amounts of money with some of these pharma deals but am not worried one iota about the full details have not been released.
When these big pharma do these deals and as previously said I work fir one of these that did a deal here earlier in the Year and used to work for at least one other of those thought to have done a deal.
The amount of DD done in preparation of these deals and the importance attached by big pharma to make a successful choice of partner is much more important than the pure financial consideration which most will judge commercially sensitive and as such “ hidden”.

As you say Bermuda the use of non replicating vector virus’s such as ChAd is very attractive to use as it means the virus will likely not revert to virulence and will be very similar to a natural infection hence stimulating a good immune response.
It would be good to get more detail on the “ sub optimal” performance in humans as that may be in part related to a lot of early work in HIV which was the initiation of these vector virus’s.
Agree we need to get better and more specific T cell responses.
However as the SCLP Vax was not included in latest WHO list it is good that the Oxford one is about to enter p3.
The SCLP one may offer better and longer protection but it is more important to get them into production for the benefit of mankind.

Excellent first post but you have now set yourself a very high standard lol.
Only other thing I would add is that any 2nd big peak is likely to be in the Autumn when other respiratory infections like flu with some common symptoms to COVID 19 appear.
So a rapid point of care would be very useful to distinguish COVID 19 patients from other virus’s when they appear symptomatic.

AS01As I said earlier most “ experts” such as John Oxford recognise that humoral response to COVID 19 antigens is likely to be short term.So by measuring the IgG level it us only likely to be a few months.However am not aware of a lot of work in measuring any cell mediated response so we don’t really know what T cell response may add to picture.However as pointed out elsewhere CF is a businessman not a scientist and I prefer it that way.

Whilst recognising the point you make that maybe he is not always on top of the “ detail” as I tried to say you must judge someone a whole and what is important is that the “ team” is balanced and likes of John Oxford are there to provide the “ detail”.
The occasion imo was not aimed at a scientific audience so you can afford imo to be a little less robust with the scientific evidence.
CF is not a detail oriented guy and few entrepreneurs are as these are usually “ Big picture” strategic guys who spot and develop opportunities the detail guys don’t get.

So yes CF more macro than micro and same with “ story telling”. To me that is a real positive in helping explain and communicate the vision and strategy in a clear manner but again some would take that attribute as being a bad one.

If you as a SH are being led up the garden path I would agree “ story telling” is not a good trait but if it is about taking SH in a journey and the yellow brick road is made of gold then I for one am happy to join him on it.

Listened to I/v and again he is a good speaker.
Agree to some extent with AS01 that CF on occasion can appear less robust on the science and specifically the point about Covid 19 ABs providing immunity for 2 years.
Having Listened to many views of top virologists and immunologists in this area the consensus is that immunity is likely to be much more short lived but truth is we simply don’t know.

Personally I put that down to him being extremely optimistic as part of his personality,the fact by his own admission he is no expert in this area,is an entrepreneur rather than a scientist and a bit of the Irish trait of being a great story teller.

Want to make it totally clear I really think CF is a great CEO and very pleased to have him lead this Company forward and has an extremely successful track record.Having worked for a lot of pharma outfits led both by those from a science background and a commercial background the styles can often be very different.
CF is a doer and that to me overrides any possible criticism that at times he may lack the detailed understanding of every comment he makes but that is a very small price to pay for everything else he brings to the table

Just to add an important part of last RNS’s were part of a “ single transaction” but that may be made up of a series of smaller trades as part of an overall “ transaction” .
Therefore it depends if all the “ single transaction “ has been completed when you will get another TR1 assuming a reportable threshold has been passed.
