Peter/Nick,
Yep one of lessons is try and read these boards as a possible judgement of sentiment but try abd do as objectively as possible.
Just because a board is quiet does not mean a good story is not unfolding but equally it will likely need news to appeal to a wider audience.
As you say there is a risk of “ confirmation bias”. Bit like why you will often find expensive cars advertised in glossy magazines it is partly to attract new buyers in a certain socioeconomic bracket but also to reinforce behaviour and confirm why someone has already bought( post purchase dissonance).
That is why it is no bad thing to have a very bad experience on AIM and yes it can wipe some out or cause some a heavy loss and that is very sad but often it is the best way to learn a very valuable lesson.
So in the same way you should be never be swayed by a very positive or negative board or individual posters who constantly whinge or glorify always remember the only thing that matters is your individual decisions.
We all have different positions, entry and exit points, circumstances, strategies, experiences, leveks of knowledge etc.
Think of it as a big game of snakes and ladders but hopefully a few pointers.
A recent big raise so that removes one of big snake risks.CF has lots of skin in game so again is aligned in same journey as SH.
Nice diversified business which means not dependent on any particular sector.New recent contracts and possibilities of more so looks a few ladders around.
I could go on and am confident here but I know this space well and as I have previously said my employer signed a contract here earlier in the Year and that gives me a lot of confidence.
Plus some if the other big players who have signed here give me added confidence.
Will leave it to others to post some of the snake risks which I have not really found.
The only short term negatives is confirming that Acacia and any flippers from the placing are fully out and of course the general economic outlook which can affect motored general sentiment and summer liquidity.
CF has stated another big pharma deal will be done next month and I will look for that one. If he did not deliver for whatever reason then that would not be good but as he is a great communicator with SH I am certain he will update us in due course
