Well SCLP have not provided any evidence for activating or inducing any T cell response vs Covid 19 unlike other Vax candidates you seem happy to dismiss.
Science is ultimately about proving and providing evidence not extrapolating theoretical possibilities and then assigning a no risk or no reason to not work rationale which seems commonplace here.
Whether that us works in mouse so must work in humans or works in cancer cells therefore must work against a Covid 19 virus.
Do you understand the difference or concept of evidence based medicine.

Are you suggesting that SCLP ‘ charge a fee” to look in a data room or examine the potential of the science possibly leading to a NDA.

As you say Immunobody should work a treat in generating the necessary immune response so we will watch this space with interest.

Again for clarification and I have counted 3 imo’s amongst my morning posts but yes not one IMHO.
The vast bulk of BB posts are about opinion and even the posting of “facts” is often subjective.
Really stop twisting my words.Where I have said I was lucky to sell.I made a decision and made profit in some and lost on others.
It was a deliberate decision so how was it lucky.
I keep it very simple if I expect the SP to go up I buy if I expect it to fall I sell but I may vary the timeframe.
For the utmost time why would I want the SP to fall.You're obviously convinced I am an evil trader peddling constant bad news in the hope everyone panics and sells and then I get my low entry point.
Well others can judge whether my posts are unduly negative or merely simply to draw attention to legitimate questions that others may want to gloss over.
It does not matter it ant going to effect the SP one iota.
The facts are hardly any trades today.Ask yourself why.
If the case is so compelling why is there not a lot more interest.
I have explained in detail why I thought the SP would go down today earlier but you thought there must be a big buy in the system.

Yes lot of things at play.Being an election year and the economy being critical am sure if Trump can point to an FDA Approved US Vax in Sept/Oct then he would love it.
However I don’t believe the Moderna approach is any better than several others at providing a limited immune response which will require multiple Vax but that will be good enough for Trump.
They have overegged the pudding in previous announcements which others have done to improve chances of funding for Covid 19 Vax and I still think there will be a huge demand for Covid 19 human challenge studies here.
Happy to wait as a big rest of year to come here and really not going to Derisk in advance of major news unless it spikes up to say above 20 when Injay be tempted to slice a few but have a decent chunk in here now

Happy that we agree to differ and that is what BBs about.
No doubt in the fullness of time we will see which view is the more accurate reflection of the future.

Often the reason can be a large buy or sell order but the fact it would not allow me to sell any quantity from 1k to 100k means my inclination is that they have a plentiful supply of shares so imo more likely a sell order or possible knowledge of something else.
I know of another source quoting the same feeling on a different platform showing the RSP which is usually a better guide to real position than LSE L2 which is what I have access to.

I really am just putting it out for discussion.
Are you really saying that the climate for raising money In the Covid/ Pharma space was nit much better 2 months ago than now.
As I said they may announce non dilutive funding which would be great but if they have to place then personally I thought the climate was better Q2 than Q3 but again happy to be wrong.
What I mean by Diggle is they imo will not want to go over 29.9% so limiting how much they can go for considering the amount we may need to progress trials on all fronts not merely keep the lights on.
Of course I am not a fund manager but have you spoken to any or met them at these events or indeed their “ advisers”. Do you really think they get Oncology Professors like Diggles did to buy into likes of SCLP hardly.
So they need to be convinced/ persuaded in a clear concise way about the future here not bamboozled with detailed talk of how the immune system responds.
Remember in a previous funding round RG said 18/20 institutions invested well how many are still here.If they really were that convinced of the science I suggest most of them but I hardly think that is the case given the SP action.
What they look for is likes of BoD participation or clear evidence of external validation like deals etc.
If that is not evident then of course they will be less willing .Of course they can cover that risk by negotiating a low placing price and / or warrants etc.

I really do not want this SP lower but want to see evidence of why would be a good reason to buy more at the moment.Really don’t see why this appears so difficult to understand.

Moderna have announced an immune response in p1 trials in their mRNA Covid 19 Vax.
What do people expect.
1.It is phase 1 so way behind some others so PR is vital to get further funding and this is same Moderna that some of BoD sold shares on a previous Covid 19 Vax “ announcement” after a previous raise.
2. What was this response.Hiw long did it last.What were IgG and IgM levels and crucially how long did they last.Hardly conclusive due to size and length of trial.
3.Cant do patient sub sets.
4. This will increase likely uptake if human challenge studies to accelerate all 200 Covid 19 Vax attempts.

Very much agree.
It does not matter whether you,me or any other poster understands the science the only people that matter are potential investors and they need to believe it is good enough to lead to deals and monetisation.
Unless they announce some non dilutive funding then they need to raise soon.I really hope they have not missed the golden opportunity of 2 months ago when the sector was red hot.
Although Diggle did lots of DD last time and that was great other potential institutional investors will not be prepared to put in the same effort so need to be convinced on a fund manager basis.
So the message needs to be clear and not complex and imo CH lacks a bit of charisma which again imo will not help.
I don’t think they will go down the primary bid route and Diggles are limited as to how much they can buy and of course the BoD have never shown a willingness to buy in the past,
Anyone observed the strange price action this morning so any thoughts as to what lies behind it welcome.

Bit these are generating real money and look at the exponential growth in sales so June a third of 1H total and will increase further as capacity rises.

As you say a bit like the footy.
The bitters will hate it but us fans and the neutrals know it is great news.

I am talking about NSAIDs so Non steroidal Anti Inflammatory Drugs which are most common anti arthritis drugs so reduce pain and inflammation so everything like aspirin,ibuprofen,Naproxen etc.
They work by inhibiting The Enzyme pathway mainly Cox1. ( generally bad so prostaglandins etc and leads to GI issues like acid and ulcers) and the Cox 2 pathway largely protective so the early NSAIDs like aspirin and ibuprofen blocked both pathways equally so you needed to add proton pump inhibitors like omeprazole.
If you use a more Cox 2 specific NSAID like Celebrex then the thought is their is not so much need to use likes if Omeprazole as you are reducing risk of GI issues.
You may raise other issues so is nit clear cut but my point us there are alternatives which reduce pain and inflammation but are much less risky re GI probs than a lot of the common proscribed NSAIDs

Presume a lot of your medication has been on much stronger steroid and much stronger analgesics like nerve blockers which operate further up the peripheral or CNS cascade.

If you are taking NSAIDs and they are not Cox 2 specific like Naproxen etc then you really need to take Omeprazole to counter the potential side effects re acid in gut and risk of ulcers.
If you want to take NSAIDs to reduce pain and inflammation say you want aCox 2 specific so tryouts don’t need omeprazole

An interesting question and one we have so much to understand.It appears the IgM is detected within days and then IgG a week two later in natural infections.
So we need to not only measure these levels and see how long they last and then look at patient sub sets etc so lots of work to be done.
You can understand the natural caution here given the expedited process and is important to generate data from the Immunobody approach to be better compare the alternatives here
