To clarify the govt has booked the first 3 slots and paid £10m non returnable deposit plus another £20m to complete so each trial is worth £10m and they are throwing in the Royal Free Quarantine Unit free of charge.
I have no idea if SCLP is involved but assuming the UK govt gives preference to U.K. based candidates I can only think of 3 including SCLP so they would be looking the proverbial gift horse in the mouth imo.
The U.K. government timeline of Jan-May can be altered as they have reserved the slots,own the Royal Free and control who uses it.
As for the other point.I will reiterate my position once more.
I have always posted on LSE but decided to move to ADVFN on SCLP only due to the fact I felt it was impossible to have a balanced discussion on here primarily due to the antics of one poster.
I was not the only one and in fact you yourself ventured onto there for a while before coming back here.
I like anyone else am free to post on any board where they are a member and I can comment on any individual if merited equally which is everyone’s prerogative.
I do make occasional comments but normally only targeted at one individual and sometimes in response to personal attacks on myself.
My opinion of that individual which is in line with many others is the polar opposite of the esteem he is held by several on here. We just disagree.There are many examples in history where some are classed as hero’s but others consider them zeros.
I constantly seek to draw a line under the past but a few on here feel it necessary to trawl other boards to drag up and criticise my post calling someone a clown but happily ignore calling out that said persons use of words like “ nut job” and racist language.
So if you don’t like what I say just filter me but I do find the hypocrisy on here astounding.

Wanted to post this as it may involve SCLP.

The govt has booked 3 HC slots to be done at the Royal Free starting in Jan and currently scheduled to finish in May.
My guess is that one will involve imperial and that the Oxford one is probably too advanced.
So assuming the Govt will favour the development of U.K. efforts to accelerate Covid 19 Vax and treatments then I would have thought SCLP would have a good case assuming it had got to p2 stage in time and that it compares well to other competing candidates.
It could be that non U.K. efforts could be given slots but unlikely given need to support national efforts plus these other candidates are in discussion about paying for these studies commercially as a separate transaction.
May be one if reasons for extra raise was to ensure Covidity to get in a position to enter these HC trials in a timely manner and benefiting from the £10m the Govt is spending on each of these slots.

You may also find they limit one question per person so if you have a “ spokesperson” you may only get one question from a list answered.
Do appreciate we all want different questions asked but suggest if you need someone else to ask the question if you don’t understand how to ask it yourself it may not be the right question imo

Demon when I said priced in I was only thinking about confirmation of the contract but the deal was much more than that like the value,the connections,the validation,the kudus,the publicity etc

Today was not just about the contract being signed as that was all that may have been priced in.
We got the 3 booked challenge studies that was not known.Plus the reference to HC operations in Australia and US.
All the great publicity and support by real decision makers and the extent of the partnership speaks volumes

Bad day regarding the SP reaction to the news but we have seen it all before on AIM.
Question is does today’s news encourage you to buy more or sell.
Overwhelmingly for me it is a good day as it was confirmation of what we all expected bit you dint always get what you expect.
So CF has delivered again with probably £40 worth of bus.A UK govt contract which does nit come much better.Plus making unique facilities available at no cost.
Three slots already booked probably one for Imperial Vax.You do not get better backing and look who has supported it all the top names.
Look at the publicity absolutely overwhelming.
Do we think other commercial Companys will come on board.Well considering the U.K. is the worlds first to use HC trials any Vax or treatment Supplier in the works will be forming a queue.
Also these Vax will be around for a long time as 2nd generation ones will seek USPS so testing in sub populations/T Cell responses etc
Plus 90% of ORPH is non Covid so expect more contracts.
Plus Immutex and Genome data base cash dividends.
CF is tied in for a long time so will be playing long time unless of course we get a buy out.
GL with those that trade this but I really think the SP will be much higher at end of the plus the 2 cash events.

Yes Nom “ great news “ and of course an option for SCLP if it wants to accelerate the development of it’s Covid. 19 Vax once regulatory Approval is given.
However with full U.K. govt backing and MHRA “ independence from EMA” I would say odds are pretty high
