Obviously if GD had been heavily defeated it would have created a much better background for FRR but as you say that was never going to happen.
The future of FRR will be decided by much more than the outcome of the election assuming we have a future.

Really appreciate your list and you may be right but one thing stands out to me that is more than just about the money and that is the development of all Modi targets at once rather than sequentially.
I can understand you may want to expand SCIB 1/ Combo sites especially in US and taking over SCIB 2 but developing multiple Modi targets before it has demonstrated any clinical data is unusual to say the least.
Once this is demonstrated in p1/2 I can understand the argument but not at this stage

Kate Bingham did say she expects mid 2021 that new Vax will likely be delivered differently so trans dermal, oral and even intra nasal

Konar there are two of the published slides in the public domain of Kate Binghams presentation including one on which Covid 19 Vax candidates are internally prioritised by the Govt.
A few pre clinical ones are listed but nine us assigned a Priority.SCLP is not featured on the list

Agree without any formal clarion call to “ rally the troops” it seems the BoD decided to risk losing the Vote by going ahead in the hope it would go through in a quiet way.
They may have approached a few HNW holders by informal means in the hope of sounding them out and recruiting them to the cause but as retail investors hold a large number of shares in nominee accounts it seems an ill judged response by nit being proactive.
Even after losing it seems the BoD response is to make a general plea for SH to support its position but again failing to explain in more detail exactly what the additional Redmile investment will be used for as opposed to the original raise which was unanimously welcomed by all including Vulpes.
Anyway hopefully the vote will be conclusive and we can move on and discuss the real areas of interest and get a more clear picture at the AGM

Why should we have to decide on an important matter without having the required information or rely on personal communication which again will normally reflect on only one side of the argument.
The lack of clear BoD communication imo is responsible for our current impasse which may or may not be solved by the adjournment of the GM.
But we are where we are and I have decided to Vote in favour of the Redmile CLNs being Issued.
It is purely for selfish reasons which I think are aligned in the context of available info.
It is the best way to advance the science to benefit mankind and generate the data that will,ultimately value the science here.
Plus it will be much better for sentiment.
Finally it just confirms my decision not to be too exposed here as I am comfortable with either outcome and will of course act to mitigate any risk as hopefully we all consider a vital part of our P/F management.

Agreed Douve and don’t forget even without extra Redmile funding SCLP have a healthy balance sheet.
Plus the other party in the mAB deal would have been dealing with SCLP before the initial raise.
Think disagreement between Vulpes and Redmile disproves that thecRedmile investment was planned from the start.

My understanding us if they go over 30% they have to make an offer to buy at the highest the SP has been during the previous 12 months so more like 20p.
I may be wrong in this but highlighted this in the past as once you give control to big SH you clearly lose the ability to determine SCLP destiny and they can determine the outcome and at a price that suits them

Again if you were worried about the closeness of the Vote you would take that action especially after Vulpes did it unless there is a reason they could not

It does appear to be a bit of a mess and I am not happy about having SH making an important decision when none of us has the required information to do so imo.
We are being asked to decide based on conjecture, lack of understanding of why Redmile and Vulpes seem to have opposing views and lack of information.
I will see if anything comes out from either party to try and clarify my position.If nothing official materialises I will likely vote for but only as I believe any opportunity to raise cash at a decent SP should be taken to progress the science.
However this does nothing to convince me of the calibre of the BoD allowing this situation to arise.

For the record I voted in favour of the resolution and I weighed up the risks carefully of the potential of ceding control to Redmile ( and the potential for destruction of value to other Shareholders) against the negative message Vulpes' decision has on key individuals and the ultimate creation of a divided Board. A question that remains unanswered is this a decision rooted in economics or a decision based on emotion as they wanted to be seen as **** of the walk ? I really fear for Scancell at this point in time and there is a chance the deck of cards could come tumbling down. I personally would urge all Shareholders to vote in favour of the resolution as the alternative is deeply deeply unpleasant. Divided Boards never conquer and to be frank this situation should not have developed to its current stage - it does in my view reflect a fundamental issue of Governance. There is no virtue in naming names as it will be absolutely clear to the individuals involved what their failings are and what they should do in these circumstances.
