I saw it differently.
Yes disappointment on TCR and yes we would have wanted Covidity trial to be sooner but I am heartened that Redmile put so much in at 13p and will expect a hefty return.
The data will now be generated and we largely live or die by that but I am optimistic especially on the mAbs.
However as I have constantly said I am setting my sights on a much lower anticipated return here than many others.
I hope I am wrong and exceeds my expectations but I prefer to keep my expectations low. In that way I find I am less likely to be disappointed

Crumbs my disappointment was in 8/24 had not revealed any meaningful data but as you say once Moditope starts it may change things

Sure you can look at it yourself tonight and reach your own conclusions.
Nothing hugely unexpected but I liked the way they went into detail about issues,news and timelines rather than having to ask.
Important bit was Redmile approached SCLP so if they are happy at 13p I am too.
I got 47-48% of my extra and with the cash I got back I could buy the rest lower so can’t complain.
The TCR was disappointing and explains why no progress with Bion Tech.
Thought CH did go into more detail about what extra money was to be used for but like the way he explained that the extra would advance all platforms quicker including all the mAb ones( think that might have got Redmiles interest).
Covidity I never thought as main game in town and yes could be good and timeline for start is later but appreciate they have still not picked best solution the S and N protein which LD went into in detail.
They seem to want to recruit a lot more staff and I was also happier with SA explanation of Combo trial progress
So generally happy with SP will rise steadily but not new news on horizon as far as I could tell

Thought presentation was pretty good and only disappointment was TCR news so far.

We can’t deduce how much it was oversubscribed from individual allocations and as I am HL and don’t know yet can’t be sure but seems clear lot of demand there.
Possibly we will find out via TR1 if Vulpes have gone for their allocated OO shares or not.

The RNS giving the results if the #SCLP open offer just said it was over subscribed, no figures.

I've now got my shares, and can now tell you I got 34% of the excess I applied for. So it was over subscribed roughly 3x.

Huge demand. Let's see what they can do with Redmile.

So OO seems to be about 34% of allocation.Still awaiting my % age but seems to tally with a few others

Some other candidates do this so not a desperate situation but Danish mink situation has highlighted issue.

Thanks for that and I just read it.Yes closer to home and surprised it has not been more widely circulated.
Seems likely that the Spike Glyco protein is most likely to mutate and as you say that may render some of Vax and mAb treatment Approaches unable to effectively target it.
As there are so many different Approaches it is likely that some will provide protection vs this mutated strain but we just don't know.
Covidity is targeting both Spike and Nucleocapsid proteins and likely to generate both humoral and CM response so is more likely to work.
This virus seems a lot more complex than others and we seem to be finding out more all the time.Despite the huge effort gone into developing Vax and repurposing potential treatments these early efforts are unlikely to provide all the answers and the second generation efforts like SCLP are so important

Hi C7 it is to do with 2 major things.
1. It is a mutation of the Spike Protein so several of the initial Vax targeting the Spike Protein May not be effective.However other Vax Approaches that target the S protein may be effective.
This mutation has incurred in Danish mink farms.
2 It has been passed from animals ie mink to humans so is Zoonotic so far only 12 but could be many more.
That is the other potentially very worrying development.
Have the Danes nipped it in the bud, has it travelled, does it get passed on via other animals,will it just further.We simply don't know.

WTP Also potentially significant news from Denmark if this apparent mutation of the S protein is as worrying as some insinuate

It is not just about the size of these contracts and/ or the regularity which is fantastic. It is who they are with and of course many are recurring and now involving both hVivo and Vern in added value activity.
They are with probably 3/4 of the Top pharma Companies in the world plus the U.K. Govt.
You need to understand how critical it is to establish these type of relationships and how difficult it is to have them validated.

I do think you make a very good point and although agree with Bermuda as well about the major issue not being not having a strategic plan but not sticking to it I do think think this a key time to map out the journey forward.
They now have the resources both financial and can of course now recruit any additional people to carry things forward concurrently rather than sequentially.
A few years ago SCLP talked about a strategic vision of moving Tina later stage drug development Company which I really bought into but it was the relative failure to progress this priority that caused me to readjust my views.
At this particular time I feel they have a real opportunity to set out a clear strategic pathway to future SH value enhancement.
However in view of past actions it is delivering on this plan which is the key by readily hitting the milestones which any coherent plan should incorporate in more detail.
So yes interesting that Mondays presentation should highlight what Vulpes bought into but it is the answer to the questions and the manner in which they answer them that is more important to me normally in deciding how much they stick to the plan.
